I don't know what it is about fashion models on runways, but they never "do" anything for me.

Maybe it's their unilateral zombie like blank faces. There's just nothing there....

I just never understood why designers spend so much time and money to model clothes that nobody is ever going to buy or wear in public. I mean, I would never ask them to change all of the transparent fabric and nipple displaying, of course, but that doesn't mean it makes sense to me.

People wear them.

Just have your wife throw a slip on under it and she'll be good to go. Granted those dresses are 10K a piece.

Yeah, I don't think that's my wife's style, Eamon. Thanks for the thought, though.

To the original point, I've read that most of the dresses never get worn anywhere but the runway, and the shows are put on more for the entertainment of the social elite and such. Sure, I guess some do get worn to events, but to loosely paraphrase AB "Ick!".
