Has anyone else seen this?
I just got through watching it on IFC. It was quite coo. Hollywood could take a few notes on how horror movies can be done, rather than continue down the path of torture-porn one-upsmanship started by Saw.
Of course, I'm still gonna go see Hostel 2.

I saw it a few years ago, but I can't remember any of it.
I think I thought it was ok, but nothing special.
I did think the main girl was fit though.

It's pretty much the only recent Canadian horror series worth seeing. I say "series" because they made three. The second one was pretty good actually. It was about the little sister trying to stop herself from going nutty as a werewolf. Same sort of cool feminist themes as the original.
The third one was more of a prequel. It was alright, but I don't recall thinking much of it compared to the previous two.
Sadly, the two actresses haven't done much since. Not that they're starved for work or anything. It's just a real shame that for all of the good screen talent Canada produces, the only way for them to make it big is to star in american made tv shows and movies shot in Vancouver.

The chick who played the older sister has been on Smallville, Supernatural, and just about every other show that shoots in western Canada.
The script for Ginger Snaps was workshopped at the Canadian Film Center which is up the street from my place in Toronto. Big ol mansion Norman Jewison donated years ago.
Anyway, Ginger Snaps actually made some cash hence the two sequels.
