Anyone have thoughts/feelings on the apple announcement yesterday?

I still think nanos are overpriced and lame, but the screen is a really nice upgrade. Much like the shuffle, I think its good for kids/teenagers, or for when people workout and need music.

iPod is now "iPod classic". Whatever, it's the same old G5 iPod with a metal front.

And... FINALLY. I've been waiting for a fullscreen (widescreen) iPod for about 2 years now. I sold my G5 iPod in anticipation... and was letdown by the announcement of the iPhone 4 months ago. I don't need a phone.

So I'll be getting the new iPod touch (i won't be calling it that) on September 28th... and the only thing that bugs me is the size; 16GB.

iPod touch = DO WANT

I was giddy over teh announcement that NBC is telling Apple to fuck themselves...
...but I was saddened to hear its because they wanted $5 per video from iTunes store.
