I find that they really depend on a good bartender. Too much vermouth, too much brine from the olives, etc... and it quickly goes from amazing to just "ok".

Mojitos are a great party drink. My mom has mint growing in her backyard (it's like a weed... It just spreads and spreads), and limes are super cheap in bulk, so ya get a handle of bacardi, a bag of limes, and trim the weeds in the backyard, mash them all together and add a little Sprite and everyone's happy for the day.

Grateful dead is the same as a long island iced tea, except hold the coke and put in some chambord (so it's lemony/raspberry). Good for lollipoops, I suppose.

Miller High life light.

I would be drinking miller lite but my roommate drank all of mine.

But he paid me back in high life so that's what i'm drinking.

I have fond memories of High Life. My roommates and I didn't have classes on Fridays so Thursday afternoons always included grilling out and 18-packs of High Life bottles for $7.99.

I only have one Smithwick's left. :(

Made some green tea liqueur for giggles the other day. Just steeped tea bags in vodka and added honey. It's pretty yummy.
