I figured answering this might be off-topic.

But I don't believe anyone is specifically born bad or good. I think that through personal decisions and how we were raised and treated, that we become one way or the other.

Same with animals.

I'm not egotistical enough to have thought she was talking to 'me'. I was just saying that I am either an anomaly, or, more likely, one of some percentage that doesn't work like her argument.

I think the fact that when members of the opposite sex like each other, and then don't start to immediately get jiggy jiggy, seperates us from the mentality of animals.
Also, it's a pretty big cockblock if you ever get some sort of STD, albeit it is presented much more often by pro-absinence groups than it really exists.
