Man I knew if they brought Peter Petrelli back he'd have amnesia, it's such a cliched superhero plot device, and with Hiro probably going the other cliched route of being his own paradoxial hero, I can't say I was really impressed. The best part was George Takei being rugby tackled over the roof edge by one of ...them. I'm curious as to what they're talking about..

On the whole the season 2 premier was pretty good but with a couple of bad points.
Firstly - claire not be a cheerleader any more!! she broke my heart when she said shes over that!! I'm not over that claire - did you ever think of us men! I only hope that instead she decided to join the slutty attention whore group (every college has one!)
secondly - another guy that can fly!! please not another one - cant they come up with more interesting powers than that. And why have him as one of the gifted? would be more interesting if he was normal and started to suspect that there was something going on with claire and her dad and start snooping around and start dating her just to find out whats going on etc. just have to wait how that plot line unfolds.

I thought the episode was 'ZzzzZzzz'. But I didn't like the first and second eps of the first season...too much exposition. After seeing the whole thing come together, I was ok with the first episode overall... just in terms of story, way too much character introductions (or in season 2's case, re-introductions).
Still good...just not riveting.

Always good for Hayden. I'm guessing its as efilflah suggested; now shes legal she can bare a lot more. Heres hoping for a more interesting changing room scene then the one(s) we saw in Season 1:

When is the next episode? I've been trying to make sense of this whole writer's strike thingamyjig and how it's affected some shows more than others, and with the last episode I watched saying "Volume 3" at the end, I was wondering if "that's it" for season 2?

That's it until the strike ends and they shoot the episodes that will make up the second half of Season 2, which was always planned to be called Volume 3.
Sadly, I don't think we have any idea when that might happen.
No they ended the season early as a result of the writer strike. Some of the story they trimmed up to fit and not linger on to the next 'volume'.
At least that's what Tim Kring said in Enterainment Weekly Nov 4th, 2007 issue.

I know I can't read shit in this topic, but I wanted to let you folks know that I've started watching Heroes on demand. NBC charges the ripoff fee of .99 cents per episode, but it's better than buying the DVD. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up before anything new happens, and won't need to pay cash to see something that was aired for free.
I did catch the episode that Claire's father finally tells her the truth, and she walks out of her burning house, much to her mother and brother's shock. I realized then that I had missed too much to keep watching. It was funny that I could point out to my wife that it was Claire's father in the back of Mohinder's cab, just from the outline of his glasses from behind.

The villains plotline looks like it's going to be great.
Between Ali Larter in panties and Dania Ramirez in something other than her central-American fugitive duds, my eyes were satisfied, too. (Suppose I can't complain about Mzzzzz. Pannetiere or Kristen Bell, either.)
