WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS POP UP ALL ABOUT? 8:20pm - Tuesday, December 11, 2001 What a way to kill a site's momentum eh? Dead site and all, i'm happy to report that i still got over 4500 hits yesterday. 4703 to be exact. But yeah, i hate this. No, not the fact that i got 4703 hits, but the fact that my GM isn't functioning properly and my number two man is currently having a shitfit over something so he can't get to work fixing it up. Plus, i'm right smack dab in the middle of my finals. Meaning nothing can be done about the site for now. And that i'll have to resort to posting in this comments section-less pop up window. Not that it really matters anyway since most people just come here looking for naked celebs. But anyway, for the benefit of those of you who actually do read the posts, well, you're just gonna have to wait a little longer for the site to be back to normal. Last day of exams tomorrow. Film and SOC 334. And i'll be flying back home the next morning. Anyway, go check out this site. And this one too while you're at it. And what the heck, check out this one too if you've got time to spare. 8:30pm - Monday, December 10, 2001 How utterly depressing. My site is dead. I can't do anything about it right now. Since i have my finals to sit for and all. My hits are going down the shitter. Although that could be attributed to the fact that it's the weekends. My hits are always low on Saturdays/Sundays. But it's already like only 3 hours to Tuesday! THIS CANNOT BE GOOD. Of course, it's only barely Monday on the other side of the world but yeah, if my hits aren't up to their usual 4500+/- a day by Wednesday my time, i will cry. I think it has to do with the dead site. And the pop up. People hate pop ups. I hate pop ups. Blah. Looks like the site restoration will take longer than i expected. It'll probably be up and running at 100% by next Monday AT THE WORST. Oh well. This sucks to say the least. Just a note to all of you out there who're using GreyMatter. DO NOT EVER press 'stop' on your browser to interrupt GreyMatter UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES while it's posting up your post. It doesn't like it when you do that. And it will kill itself. 11:15am - Monday, December 10, 2001 EXAMS. ARGH. Bought Oceans 11 and Behind Enemy Lines on VCD last night. Behind Enemy Lines is one really tight movie. WOW. I loved how this movie looked and the way it was cut together. It's fucking stylish like you wouldn't believe. The edits... damn... i wish i'd shot and edited MY movie the way this movie was shot and edited. Fucking slow mo's/speed up's... AWESOME. Hard to explain. But go check out the movie and you'll see what i mean. ANYWAY, i have to go study now. EXAMS EXAMS. AMS 200 today at 2:30pm! ARGH. 5:55pm - Saturday, December 8, 2001 Wow. Is Fuzzy ever tall or what? She's almost as tall as i am! Of course, it helped that she was wearing these high heeled platform kinda shoes but it can't be denied that she is tall. Just ask Pearly. She'll probably tell you the same thing. In fact, the first words out of her mouth when she saw Fuzzy were "My God! You're so tall!". Or something to that extent. Hi. I just got back from our weekend meeting thing. It was nice. The three of us met up at 1 Utama and walked around aimlessly for a bit before catching a movie. And what better way to mark the occasion of meeting up with Justin than to watch... a Kirsten Dunst movie! So we watched crazy/beautiful. WOO. But can you believe what happened?? The stupid film reel just decided to konk out RIGHT BEFORE THE SCENE. ARGH. We had to sit in the dark for like 10 minutes or something, completely missing out on some quality Kirsten Dunst eye candy while the projectionist guy was fixing the fuck up. "They'd better rewind the movie" i said. But by the time they got the movie running again, most of the good stuff had already gone by. And they didn't rewind the movie! I wanted to cry! I'd forgotten how many freeze frame worthy scenes there are in that movie. Seeing it on the big screen for the first time has really opened up my eyes to the prospect of getting the movie on DVD. The first time i saw c/b was on some crappy quality bootleg VCD. But yeah, anyway, I WANT THIS MOVIE ON DVD NOW. Freeze frame! Freeze frame! Freeze frame! We went lookin around Toys R Us after that. Saw a pitifully small display of Harry Potter toys. They didn't even have any owls for sale. Save except for this one little keychain owl. That was PINK. They should've stocked up on more big fat owls. That branch of Toys R Us sucked. It was nice meeting up with the Fuzzster and Pearly. Too bad Jamie couldn't make it. She had to go see her grandma today. I tried imagining what it would've been like if she could've made it. But alas, i couldn't. Because my imagination sucks. Jamie did say that she'd make it up to me somehow before i leave. Well she can make it up to me by sending me to KLIA next Thursday morning! Hahaha. So i don't have to pay 50 bucks to get there by taxi! Hahaha. Okay maybe not. I miss my GreyMatter comments thing. Everything should be up and running smoothly by Monday though. So until then, just bear with everything for a while. FUZZY'S SO TALL. WAAAAH. 10:45am - Saturday, December 8, 2001 Still fixing up the site. It should be back to normal by Monday at the earliest. The comments should work now. BUT IT'S ADVISABLE NOT TO COMMENT JUST YET. Still a few kinks to work out. 7:30pm - Friday, December 7, 2001 Apologies for the pop up window but it has to be done. Why? Well because i basically just totally screwed up my GreyMatter thing BIG TIME. Done gone KILLED IT. Accidently. And when it died, it took all it's .cgi files with it. config.cgi, authors.cgi, entries.cgi... all dead. Reduced to zero K in size. Can't even log in. In fact, nobody can log in. Not even Alice. The site's still up though. And so are all the archived GM posts from before and all the previous comments that have been made. Up till GM's death. The only thing now is that: So the /archives/index.html page that used to hold the links to the archived posts is gone. So what does all this mean? Well, it means that I FUCKED UP BIG TIME AND KILLED MY OWN SITE. And that i probably won't be updating. For a while. OR MAYBE FOREVER. The whole site is still pretty much 100% intact. Everything that was on the site before GM died is still there. So yeah, you can still check out the old stuff. There won't be any new stuff until i can get everything back to normal. Which i doubt will ever happen. Because, seriously, as it stands, my GM is practically IRREPAIRABLE. Or however the hell you spell that word anyway. I think i spelt it wrong. And this coming off an A grade English student. But that's not the point. The point is, THE SITE IS DEAD. You can still look at it's 'body' but it won't 'grow' anymore. Not for the time being anyway. Because it's DEAD. And i killed it. Not on purpose though. I just sorta fucked up somewhere. Long story. It's stupid. In any event, if you wanna get in contact with me or comment on a post or whatever (since you can't do it in-site anymore...), you could do no worse than to e-mail me here. If all else fails, i'll probably just continue posting new posts and stuff here in this pop up window thing. At least till i can get everything back to as normal as it can get.
