That's Paramounts loss.
MI 3 cost 150 million and has made 400 million. It'll make another 400 in DVD sales and TV right if not more. War of the Worlds made huge money as well. The guy make be nuttier than a Mars bar but he gets people into the theatre.
Now when his movies clean up he'll get the 80% end of the profits rather than the 12 he'd usually get handed on top of his fee to be in the movie which is a part of the budget.
Sumner Redstone likes to pick actresses he thinks should be famous and then makes them earn it. He's old (literally) school 'ass to ass' and Tom Cruise's case of the stupids is not nearly as bad as having a case of the evils.
