I watched the google video link. I don't usually watch South Park or other comedy shows unless I'm eating and need something on, but I had to watch it 'cos I really don't get the fascination with WOW at all, it seems so dull so seeing a pisstake of it was quite entertaining.

I thought it was quite depressing when they got all fat and pimply, wasting their lives killing boars (the last 10 minutes), but still a pretty good episode. I've never played a mmorpg, but I know at least 2 losers at work who play Everquest EVERY DAY... so I could find the humor in it.

I loved the WoW versions of the boys, with their normal voices (much like the anime "fun with weapons" episode last season), but there was so much stupid computer language, it was more annoying than funny.

Something about hearing "pwned" said out loud is just wrong. Even in Cartman's voice.

The other thing that bugged me was the blatant advertizing. They must have said "warcraft", "world of warcraft", or shown the Blizzard logo at least 100 times during the 30 min episode. I'm guessing because Blizzard helped them make the episode (with all the cg sequences), but geez... it bordered on a brainwashing infomercial.

I sure as hell didn't feel like playing WoW after watching that. My gf's brother is the type to play that game for hours and he said he hasn't touched it since seeing that episode.

Wow.

I actually had to take a break I was laughing so hard. Like the first 5 minutes alone is probably the funniest 5 minutes of television aired in the past 2 years at least. Holy shit that was funny.
