ROME

I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned on here.

Damn good show. This season is shaping up well.

The ratings are certainly improving.

Looking forward to seeing the new actor playing Octavian tonight.

Can you look in your HBO schedule and tell me if they are marathoning a catch up? I'll subscribe to HBO to catch the second (and last) season but I'm already, what, 3 episodes behind? 4?

If they are going to replay, I'll buy in. I enjoyed the first season immensely.

Last night was the fourth episode of the 2nd season.

I looked and I don't see any marathon, just episode 3 and 4 of this season played a lot this week.

I'd recommend DLing them. I actually missed half of season 1 and ended up DLing the whole thing in HD.

I've also heard rumblings of not a third season, but an offshoot.

I'd rather see that than this stupid Polanski Pompeii project that's being announced.

Anyway...no dice so far for a catch up. Not listed for me anyway.

I'm pretty sure your main man Dex can point you the right way for DLing them.

Last season HBO went on the offensive against people pirating Rome. Ask Steampunk, who got leaked 'bad copy' after 'bad copy' of torrents. Or ask Dex who got a cease and desist letter from his cable company, notified by HBO for torrenting a valid one.

:S

I scared to!

Ouch.

Well I believe I offered a long time ago to do up a whole post for you guys on how to use torrents properly and securely but was met with disinterest.

I'm sure they'll play them again at some point.

Incidentally that's Octavian now. They switched actors because they've gotten to the point where he's the new Caesar.

True story. -_-

The worst part is... I subscribe to HBO! I was just getting an episode that I missed and didn't want to wait for a repeat.

HBO puts the episodes 'on demand' after they're on for the first time. Not sure if that's an option for you with your cable/satelite but that's how I catch up.
