Crossing my fingers here. Nothing's more than a well-sourced rumor at the moment, but we'll see. Apparently the big hangup is making sure the actors can all come back and will sign contracts for 8 episodes plus the rest of the season if they decide to do it.

Bah. I got to the end of the season (series?). They fight on par with Starship Troopers! Someone stop me from throwing something at the television.

It's a tv drama, not a historical reenactment. I guess I didn't expect the battle scenes to be exactly true to life.

Hope you stick with it. We got 7 new episodes coming up. Also, if you wanna experience Jericho on something other than a tiny computer window, the pilot, mid season recap show, and the 2nd half of the season 1 episodes will be on Friday nights this summer, starting July 6th.

CBS relented after receiving 40,000+ lbs. of peanuts, plus innumerable calls swamping their switchboard and fan letters.

They will show Jericho as a replacement show for one from the new lineup that they will undoubtedly cut, and have guaranteed it at least 7 episodes. If ratings are satisfactory, the series will be extended even further.

Angelbaby reminded me and I scheduled my tivo.

I actually tried to torrent these shows, but I couldn't get any of them running. :S

Thank god too...summer doldrums have set in big time.

No goddamn it. I'm pretty fucking pissed off!

First off, it got bumped by tivo for the final episode of Standoff! (I'd pick standoff over a new unwatched show any day of the week!)

Secondly, they are airing the first episode and then a recap ep that ranges 2-12. And then they are airing episode 13!

WTF!

BULLFUCKINGSHIT!

Well, unfortunately the summer's not long enough to air all the episodes. You can still catch the first half of the season online at cbs.com

Why? It sounds like nothing too significant happens between episodes 2 and 12 if it can all be summed up into one hour.

Don't be silly. It's an overview designed for those returning to the show after the idiotic hiatus that got us here in the first place. It hits the major plot points, skips alot of minor ones, and you miss out on tons of character development.
