If they add some strategic keywords it will help alot. With what they have, nobody's going to find it unless they're looking specifically for it.

Agreed. And I told this asshat that. He's a goddamn spazz though. I swear, this dude has to be on coke. At 12:17pm he replied to my email telling him to 'chill the fuck out, I'm working on it' about the view count with an 'ok'. and then at 1:45pm I have an email from him saying 'get the view count up, man, higher.. higher.. we're falling behind'.

I don't know how to fake it. I don't use youtube all too often (dailymotion is preferable).

But if you want to drive hits to it just do it honestly. Find sites who's members would be interested and embed it in posts. People's blogs etc. Find a highly trafficked one. Could be tough since the subject is a wee bit mundane.

Plus it's a little long.

I'm going to go see about playing with youtube now! If I find anything I'll post it.

BTW - create a batch file that does: delete all your IE cookies, open a new IE page to that link specifically, wait five minutes for his long dumb video to run, ... lather, rinse, and repeat.

1500 views like magic!

The counts also don't update automatically. They seem to batch process them every 6 hours or so.
