Oh shit mannnnnn. Am i ever stoked. I went to the Sunway Pyramid Mall today to check out what’s new on the newsstands. I almost wanted to pick up a copy of EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) but then i saw a copy of this new magazine, PSM2, (Basically a Playstation 2 mag) and it had a free gift. A video cassette containing footage of the Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty trailer that’s been hyped up ever since it first was released on DVD in Japan earlier this year! Yeah sure it may only have a running time of 10 minutes (plus six minutes of other PS2 Konami games) but shit man….to actually see the trailer with my own eyes (i’ve only seen and heard about it from magazines and clips of it on the internet), shit man…it’s a dream fucking come true! Hah. There was this guy who was a few steps behind me while i was holding the mag (with video enclosed in nice sweet smelling shrink wrap) at the cashier and i heard him mutter to someone else “..Metal Gear..”. Well fuck you pal! I got the video! Not you! Hahaha.

But…*ehem*…up till now, i still haven’t seen the trailer yet. Due to a lack of a VCR in our dorm room, i’ll have to go to the school’s library and use their AV facilities to watch it there maybe tomorrow. So yeah….a collective “…fuuuuuck…” for now till i get to watch the (limited edition) MGS2 video that i have. Now imagine if it were either on DVD or VCD…i’d probably die of instant gratification. A bit of trivia….the Japanese MGS2 DVD can be found auctioned off on ebay with prices of up to US$70 when you can get the exact same DVD at a convenience store in Japan for and equivalent of US$15. Shows you how coveted the damn trailer is.
