Now here’s a Hot 100 List of women, as voted for by women. LESBIAN WOMEN!
Let’s face it: Maxim doesn’t cater to lesbians. In fact, you could say it flies in the face of all that we hold dear, especially when it declares Lindsay Lohan the hottest of them all, as it did when it published The Maxim Hot 100 List last month. So we asked you, our readers, to create your own list of hotties, and you came out in droves to nominate the women you think deserve to be on the AfterEllen.com Hot 100 List. Thousands of votes later, we have the results.
Quite a few cast members from The L Word in the top 10 but that’s not surprising.

Mostly good looking women. I think that some of the oldsters are loved for less physical reasons, and/or what they used to look like. Meryl Streep wasn’t too shabby 20 years ago. …And I’ll never forget that moment during Teaching Mrs. Tingle when the stereotypical “Lonely Nerd” sitting in the row behind me started moaning something about “Nice Feet” when Helen Mirren’s were in full camera angle onscreen. At least I laughed at him. The movie sure sucked. Picture of the lonely nerd for your entertainment.
There are a ton of women there that are generally accepted as lesbians, but haven’t come out (i.e. Clea DuVall, Jorja Fox, et. al.), and the preponderance of women that have played lesbians in film or TV, even if they are decidedly hetero, is interesting, as well. I guess it shows that beauty is often based more off of perception and fantasy than actual physical attractiveness.

But seriously Lindsay Lohan got #1 in the Maxim list? Where they basing this off her Mean Girls pictures or what? Yikes. Maxim lost all respect I had for it, which wasn’t very much mind you, but still.

You can’t compare the AfterEllen and Maxim lists, because they were created for different reasons. AfterEllen’s list is for lesbians, while Maxim’s list is for men (although that doesn’t explain LiLo being anywhere on the list, let alone #1).
I agree with the previous post about #16. I’d rather have a threesome with Hellen Mirren and Meryl Streep. I also would’ve dropped Angelina Jolie way down the list — certainly much lower than Scarlett Johansson. But, then I’m not a lesbian, either.

There were a few “what the fuck?” entries on that list. I mean c’mon, Sandra Oh? She makes me wanna puke. But other than that, I am REALLY diggin’ this list. Looks like dykes mostly got good tastes. And since it’s not Maxim, they didn’t have to include a lotta fug bitches just because they did a photoshot for their magazine.
8-10 on the list should be moved up to 1-3. Jordana Brewster is so hot it drives me insane. Salma Hayek, can’t say enough about her hotness and that huge rack. And Natalie Portman is just too fucking sexy. I’d swallow an armed tactical nuke if I could get 6 hours alone in my bedroom with those women.
And anorexic Angelina Jolie should not be number 2 on the list! Pre-anorexia Jolie is number 2, but how can you make a woman #2 when she looks like she’s about to die from starvation? She still looks like she can suck a mean dick, so I say put her at like #69 or something.

funny how they act as if LL doesn’t cater to lesbos and is the anti-lesbian or something yet in reality it is highly speculated that Lohan is dating Sam Ronson, which would in fact make her bisexual which is pretty close to be a lesbian, at least closer than a lot of other “hot” celebs…then again i never saw lesbos as being very smart and observant…

Wow, who knew? Apparently lezzies dig the same chicks I do!! …Well, except for the few scary entries in that list, which have mostly already been named in this thread. But in general, these chicks are hot. I’m kind of surprised, since all the lesbians I’ve run across (and knew they were lesbo) seem to be the butch type, and seem to always be dating the butch type. I haven’t personally encountered a hot lesbian that I know about. I didn’t realize that they dig hot chicks as well.

The lezzie list is null and void, considering, its a list of who these women want to be more like, not who they strictly want to sleep with.
So you can’t compare that to the Maxim one at all.
Come on, Keira Knightley’s on that list, she’s got the body of a 10yr old boy, its ridiculous.
