So… what’s your opinion on the whole Abercrombie & Fitch Asian clothing line that got pulled from stores earlier this week?

Eh? To tell you the truth, i had no idea what you were talking about at first. So i looked it up using Google (my preferred search engine <3) and came up with this article from the L.A Times.
And after reading that, i say to myself… I WANT ONE.
One portrays a man pulling a rickshaw with the words “Rick Shaw’s Hoagies and Grinders. Order by the foot. Good meat. Quick feet.” Another shows two Asian men at “Wong Brothers Laundry Service” and carries the logo “Two Wongs Can Make it White.”
I think that second one is hilarious. I don’t see why those stupid Asians are getting all up in arms about it. Hateful images my ass. Get a sense of humor you nitwits.
…Asian Americans misunderstood the marketing campaign, which in the past has poked fun at women, Irish Americans and snow skiers.
“Anyone who buys our clothes knows we don’t target any particular race,” he said.
DURRRH.
“We pretty much make fun of everybody. But if we’ve learned anything from this it’s that perhaps we need to get a little community feedback before we rush to market,” Goulet said.
Honestly speaking though, i don’t really see anything really wrong with those shirts. I’ve seen worse.
Another shows a caricature of an Asian man bowling, with the words: “Wok-N-bowl.”
I want that one too. WOK-N-BOWL. Ha!
If you don’t see the humor in that, then maybe something’s just wrong with me.
“What makes us so angry is that even if they say they’re going to pull these shirts from the shelves, the images are already out there. The damage has been done,” she added.
Wah wah wah. Cry me a river.
Actually. I can’t really speak for what the rest of the Asian community thinks of these shirts. I personally don’t really care. I’m Asian. But i’m not Chinese nor am i Buddhist or whatever. So i can’t really say that i’m offended. But they seem pretty harmless anyway. I’m pretty open minded about a lot of things. I think it’s all just in good fun.
Anyway, Ally McBeal was just on. And all i gotta say is; what the hell happened to Christina Ricci? She’s all skinny now. And her boobs seem to have shrunk. =(
Suck.
kinda like tshirthell……heh tshirthell is more offensive and that’s coming from an asian

erm, ok… i’m asian, i thought the shirts were cool, but only if you’re asian. think about it this way, if a white guy is wearing a t-shirt that says "niggers eat fried chicken" he’d get the crap beaten out of him… if a black man was wearing it, it’d be cool.
whatever. i got all the shirts. *shrugs*

I like what you are talking about but I think I should add an element that will really excite you. I just found Shirtfreaks.com and I about fell out of my chair. Let me know if you find their stuff as funny as I did. The site is http://www.shirtfreaks.com
