avril’s touring in south america. i actually wanted to go see her show in singapore during the asian leg of her tour but her fucking website put up the show dates late and people already knew about them from some other place (which i didnt know) and all the good seats were taken and i was like fuck that and totally missed my chance at seeing her live. what a load of crap. oh well, time to wait till she drops another album and does another tour. goddamnit.

#14 – While I agree to a point, usually SI models like this chick (and Brooklyn Decker, etc.) have plenty of curves. So do the Victoria Secret chicks (Adriana Lima, Ambrosario, Kerr, Swaenepoel, and new favorite Erin Heatherton). I just found this site whilst Googling recent mentions of Julianna for a newspaper article I’m writing (not about her specifically, but about the pressures on child stars in today’s world of 2.0 internet & heightened gutter press).
I discovered googling Julianna is a scary thing to do.
However, to answer the points raised above, she’s purposely stayed out of the limelight and has turned down several film & tv roles, due in no small part, one can deduce from her recent interviews for her college paper, to the weirdness she experienced online.
She’s currently studying psychology major, with a minor in dance. She has NO twitter, facebook etc pages. She says that she is a lot happier exploring other avenues to the showbiz route she initially chose after seeing a Broadway show at an early age.
Long story short, I’m currently directing a feature film, and our team were talking to Nancy Carson about Julianna making her comeback in our movie. Several people at Carson Adler (who used to represent Britney Spears, Matt Damon etc as child stars) were interested in her doing the film.
Julianna and her mother both approved the script. We got down to the final stages of negotiation, agreed on dates, price, contract details etc.
In the past, our team have worked on tiny budget UK films which virtually no-one will have seen. This is to be our first decent budget film with a theatrical, worldwide release. There would have been a LOT of exposure, press etc for Julianna to deal with.
At the last minute she decided not to go ahead, as she’d decided “film is no longer her main priority”. For the record, I think she is a great actress and would have done a wonderful job. However, to be honest, considering the strange following she appears to have, and the reactions she tends to cause online, I now perfectly understand why she’s wanting to stay low profile.
