Guess what? The message boards are back up. Huzzah!
I couldn’t restore any of the old posts though. But i did manage to save all the member profiles and such. So you *should* be able to use your old logins and passwords to get in. Oh and Kingolf can rest easy because his post count is still intact. Slut. So is everyone else’s by the way.
It was a tough decision to make on whether i should’ve brought the boards back. They eat up a lot of bandwidth and they kinda took away attention from the main site a bit. But after a LOT of thinking, i decided to bring it back anyway. Give you all a place to play while waiting for new posts to get posted on the site.
But please, just because the boards are back up, doesn’t mean that you should abandon the comments section on the site. Because that’s really what keeps the site going. The more you comment, the more other people will comment. And the more comments there are, the more posts there will be. And then everybody will be happy. Posters get comments and commenters get posts. Happy happy joy joy!
And besides, it’s always fun to check the site every coupla hours (or minutes… heh) to see if there are any new comments to read. Even though there aren’t any new posts.
Spread the love. It’s Valentine’s day after all. Leave a comment, post in the forums and wish your favorite ‘fubar girl’ a happy V-Day.
It’s true. My posts really are intact.
But what about the OysterDerby boards?
Are we gonna have two boards now, or what?

Well, the Oyster Derby boards are the Oyster Derby boards. The fubar boards are the fubar boards. Two different sites with two different boards. That just so happens to have some of the same members. I’m sure they can both co-exist together. In the end, it’s really up to you where you’d rather hang out. It’s your membership. You choose how you want to use it. I personally don’t really mind either way. All i ask is that y’all don’t abandon the comments!
Happy Valentine’s day to my Zoe btw =]
