2001 - 5:21pm@ December 31 2000
You know, it's gonna be 2001 tomorrow. But i'll reserve my new year's greetings for 2001 when it officially arrives.
Weird e-mails i received - 5:39pm@ December 31 2000
Like i said, i got quite a number of e-mails while i was away. This was the best/weirdest:

You sound like a verily interesting person...why don't you give me a call sometime +160471055XX...
My measurements are 38-28-34.
I'll be looking foward to hearing from you.
Love, Fern

If i'm not mistaken, that's a Canadian phone number. I think. Anyway i concealed the last 2 numbers with X's so that none of you can call her. Haha.
Psssshaw - 5:30pm@ December 31 2000
Hey remember that voting poll awards thing set up by Shasha a few weeks ago? Well the results are out and i just finally got around to check it out. All the sites in the running are sites that are based in Asia/Brunei. So you won't see any UK or US or Canadian sites in the list. But anyway, take a look at the results for best site of the year.
Now everyone knows that i should've won. The TFW crew has got like 9 people each to vote for themselves. I didn't even bother voting for myself everyday. So yeah, ignore the fact that they won because we all know i'm the real winner. Haha.
I have a big ego.
People actually read the archives? - 5:25pm@ December 31 2000
I got this e-mail:

To: webmaster@psykotik.zzn.com
Subject: where's the picture of Marion? (m2m)
From: Sweetluvez@aol.com
Date: Sun, Dec 24 2000 12:32:52 AM EST
as you posted for june 26th '00
--------------------
Wow. Someone actually bothered to read the older stuff i posted in the archives. Man those early posts really sucked. I implore those of you who haven't read the earlier stuff i've written NOT to go too far back into the archives...the early posts on this site sucked. Well actually, my posts have always sucked but not as bad as the earlier ones. So yeah, spare yourself and your face muscles from having to cringe and DO NOT go too far back into the archives. Trust me.
On a different note, M2M actually made an appearance somewhere in Malaysia recently promoting their album. I wasn't here to actualy see them live but i caught their act on TV. Marion is hot.
Same old me - 1:15pm@ December 31 2000
Just to prove that i'm still my old 'normal' self, i'm going to the mall after this. =P
Pressure - 1:00pm@ December 31 2000
You know, i can't really post that well under pressure. Pressure at this moment being me having to write good posts (ehem) with the knowledge that i have to keep an eye on the time because i'm paying by the minute at this here cybercafe.
Things'll be back to normal once the library's open. I can post for as long as i want for free with absolutely no time constraints whatsoever. I love the library.
Holy nut! - 12:48pm@ December 31 2000
Fuck me! I just check my e-mail's inbox to see that i have 17 (seventeen) unopened e-mails to read and reply to. This'll take a while.
I still know how to link - 12:44pm@ December 31 2000
What a truly wonderful girl.
Back - 12:32pm@ December 31 2000
Does anyone still read this page? Anyway, i'm back. Back from my holiday in Singapore. Got back to the dorm just last night actually. The school library's closed so i'm posting from a cybercafe right now. Blah. It'll most probably be open on the 2nd of January or something. When school starts. Man, i really miss the internet. Being away from it for nigh on 2 weeks is almost unbearable. I love the internet. And it loves me too. Haha.
Anyway, i'll talk about my experiences in Singapore later on. Being away from the internet has taken a toll on my posting 'skills'. It'll be a coupla days till i get back into my 'groove'. Stay tuned.

Down - 4:07pm@ December 22 2000
My posting skills have gone down the proverbial shitter. I re-read my last post only to realize how crap it is. It's official. I am currently out of my element.
Wow! A 'few and far in between' post! - 3:45pm@ December 22 2000
You know, i really miss posting for this site. But as it stands, i'm really having a hard time getting internet access here. I'm at a cybercafe right now. A really expensive one too at that. I can't believe the rates here in Singapore. Five bucks an hour?? Inconceivable!
Anyway, i'll definitely be back in top form and posting on a very regular basis in about a weeks time. Maybe in about 10 days or something. I dunno...like i said...in a weeks time...or something like that.
So for those of you who do still come here everyday (even though i don't post everyday), thanks. Your loyalty (if you can call it that) is much appreciated. I've gotten quite a number of e-mails and e/n related stuff since i've been gone. I'll probably incorprate them into my posts when i get back from Singapore. I guess i've missed out on alot since i've gone. Sites closing down, moving around, refurbishing their layouts and whatnot. Blah. I'm gonna have a lot of catching up to do once i'm back.

Wow! A post! - 10:32am@ December 20 2000
Hey all. Well i have arrived safely in Singapore i guess. Currently updating from a cybercafe at that. I don't think i'll be able to update that frequently till i get back to the dorm. Normal posting routines will resume most probably around December 30 onwards. Just in time for new years. Anyway, i haven't been able to check my mail since i last updated (which seems like a million years ago by the way...) and whoa shit, lots of mail. Like real genuine mail and not just spam from some stupid company. Anyway, i checked out my hit count and SHIT. What the hell? It's actually gone UP?? Inconceivable!
I was expecting it to go way down...but hey, it's cool. A nice surprise. No complaints there. I probably have some new visitors as a result coming here everyday wondering why the hell i don't update...well...to the uninitiated (yes, YOU), i'm on holiday in Singapore right now and i don't have any easy access to the internet...making it hard for me to post. I'll try to post whenever i can but it'll probably be far and few in between. As i said earlier, expect my normal posting routines to resume early next year...like January 1st early...or something like that. So in the mean time, you could go read my archives or something if you're bored. And come back every so often...just in case i do post or something...
Okay, this is a pretty shitty post. It feels weird posting after not doing so for a coupla days. I feel out of my element. Anyway...in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger (circa The Sixth Day):

15 minutes - 10:32am@ December 16 2000
I was actually planning to wake up at 8:30am this morning so that i could post more before i left. In fact, i actually woke up at 8:08am. I looked at my clock and thought, "Blah...22 minutes too early" so i decided to sleep for about fifteen minutes more.
I woke up 'fifteen minutes' later only to find that it was already 9:45am.
I hate it when that happens.
Last few posts - 10:21am@ December 16 2000
This'll *probably* be the last few posts i'll be making before i head off into the realm of uncertainty...net connection-wise. If i have net access, i'll post. If not, then well...i'll try to look for one. Anyway, i've probably mentioned this all about a gazillion times by now. Hopefully it'll have sunk to your head. If not, well...just reread this post till it does. Ha.
In other 'news', i owe this site a mention. This one's pretty alright too.
Inconceivable! - 10:03am@ December 16 2000
More PS2 vs DVD mail! Wow!
GO FOR THE STAND ALONE DVD PLAYER.
I myself have a $180 (US) standalone Toshiba DVD player and I love the thing
to death. My friends got PS2s and every time I talk about DVDs they always
tell me how much the PS2 utterly sucks at DVDs. I can't vouch for that
personally but I know they always say absolutely hate the DVD player on the
PS2.
Dav
http://foilnet.virtualave.net
And another one:
I reckon you should get the PS2. That way, you'll be able to watch DVD's and not complain later how much you wanted the PS2. Yeh? Yeh...
Have fun in Singapore, Justin
Argh. Me = Confused.
Haha - 9:58am@ December 16 2000
I love that little e-mail login thing i made for myself at the bottom of my side bar. It's so convenient! =)
Inconceivable! - 2:45am@ December 16 2000
I actually got a response for that PS2 DVD thing last night:
Your Name: nick
Your Email Address: nick@ariseweb.com
Comments: dude the ps2 is a fine dvd player, unless you planned on spending 300 on your dvd player. for me i bought a standalone like last year and it has the basic features, just because i dont' have a dolby digital reciever so i didn't really care what i got i just wanted to start my dvd collection. so i would get the ps2, start buidling your dvd collection and fucking rock those games, thats if you think ps2 will be good, i like my dc for now =)
Okay, i'm still gonna need time to think this through. The voices in my head seem to chant "PS2...PS2...PS2" though. Whereas my logic seems to scream out "standalone DVD...standalone DVD" since i'm nore interested in DVD's right now.
Ahhh! The choices one must make! Anyway, thanks Nick. I'll take what you said into consideration.
Does anyone else have a differing opinion to Nick's? E-mail me.
Saturday - 2:30am@ December 16 2000
Well it's already Saturday here while some of you (mostly those of you who live in the western part of the world anyway) are still stuck in Friday. Haha. In effect, you could even say that i'm in the future whereas you're still stuck in the past. Those of you who live in the west anyway. Haha. Don't worry though, it'll only be a coupla more hours till the weekend arrives for you.
And it'll only be a coupla more hours till i leave this god forsaken dorm. About 10 hours or so actually. I'll be at an Aunt's house waiting for my mom to arrive from Brunei. I'll be staying there till the 18th and then my mom and i'll be off to Singapore. I'll also be meeting up with Rod in Singapore soon after his arrival there all the way from England in transit to Brunei. It'll be good to meet up with him. Despite the fact that i've never ever been able to hold up any good conversations with him at all. Haha. But i'm the one at fault really. Like i once mentioned, i'm a very poor conversationalist. Whereas Rod is like, THE best person you could ever have a conversation about ANYTHING with. It's true. And i'm not just saying this to get into his pants or anything.
(Mental note: Never EVER use that line unless you're talking about a girl)
Anyway, all kidding aside, i have never ever been able to hold up a single interesting conversation with Rod on my part. He'd be the one doing all the talking and i'd be sitting there quietly just taking it all in and barely contributing my few cents worth into the conversation. It's true. I just really suck at conversing. Really. We'd be there sitting down after school just me and him and he'd be like "Sooo...here we are again" followed by utter silence. Well not really utter silence but yeah. Almost utter silence i guess. Ha.
Oh yeah, aside from being a completely worthless at holding up conversations, i'm also equally worthless at telling stories. As illustrated in the above 'after school story'. Blah.
I am the most boring person you could ever have a conversation with.

E-mail me - 9:31pm@ December 15 2000
Yep. There's no doubt about it. My posts for today suck. Big time. I guess i'm just too preoccupied with the fact that i'm the only one left in the dorm amongst all my friends who have left. I can't wait to get the hell outta here. I went to the mall tonight to kill some time. Bought 2 magazines. Edge and PSM2. Yep, you guessed it. Videogame magazines. It'll probably keep me busy for a couple of hours just reading em from cover to cover...twice. Anyway, tomorrow'll probably be a better day in terms of posting for this site. The main reason today sucked was because i only started posting at 5:30pm when most of my readers usually start visiting my site at 8:30am.
In light of this recent discovery, i will make an effort to get up early tomorrow and post...earlier i guess.
Yes. I am indeed the smartest man alive.
Anyway, if you're bored, and you've had hands on experience with a PS2, you could keep yourself busy by e-mailing me about the drawbacks of the PS2 as a DVD player compared to a normal standalone player. I'm in the middle of deciding whether i should get a standalone DVD player or a PS2 right now. I know if i get a DVD player, i won't have to worry about anything because it'll have all the features i'd want. But i can't play any games with it. But if i get a PS2, i'll be able to watch movies AND play games...but at the expense of getting a slightly inferior DVD player. Kip suggested i should just get a DVD player since i'm more interested in DVD's than PS2 games right now. But it would be sweet to own a PS2 anyway since i'm a pretty hardcore gamer. But i'm not sure it would cut it as being my primary DVD player.
If anyone has any suggestions about which one i should get, i'd be most thankful.
Come on. Be a good samaritan and help me out. Please?
Blah - 8:41pm@ December 15 2000
Man, would you look at the current hit count i got for today? It's pathetic compared to what i got yesterday. Anyway, i only have myself to blame. If i'd posted more earlier today (which i didn't), i would've gotten more if not an equal amount to what i got the previous day. Blah. I'm getting up early tomorrow. I wanna get as many hits as i can before i go on my hiatus.

Hi Psykotik. Good to know that you're doing as well as ever with
romantic dingo in tow. Perhaps I'll make note of your current status to
the rest of the world at the end of the current island vote-off. I'm
sure they're curious about "Contestants: Where Are They Now?" or some
damn thing like that.
I continue to be hiding from the feds who want to bust my ass for
vote-tampering. The grand finale to my escapades should come sometime
Saturday (in my time zone, anyway) - stay tuned....
Oh, and the Mayo Clinic is one of the most respected medical
institutions in the United States. I believe it has the lowest
acceptance rate of any medical school anywhere - and whenever people
need extremely upper-echelon cutting-edge treatments (or are Very
Important People with non-trivial illnesses, for that matter), the Mayo
Clinic is where they go. In case you were the least bit curious. :)
(Ask GermanJohn; he's the resident bio geek....)
- Antwon
Hahaha. What a great guy. And as an added bonus, i even got to know where the hell that mayo.edu (129.176.230.23) IP address originated from. It's a medical institution. Wow. To think that somebody from "one of the most respected medical institutions in the United States" actually visited my site....
Inconceivable!
Anyway, i still think it has a funny name though. Mayo. That's funny.
It will - 6:02pm@ December 15 2000
Hmm. Not posting much will definitely do wonders for my total hit count today.
Asleep - 5:30pm@ December 15 2000
Sorry for not posting earlier. Been asleep literally the whole day. In fact, i just woke up bout 5 minutes ago. Anyway, i had so many cool dreams while i was asleep. I had this really weird one that had elements of that Gladiator movie in it. Too bad i've totally forgotten how it went though. Don't you just hate that? You have this really cool dream then suddenly, you wake up. You think to yourself "Wow, that was a cool dream" and then when you're finally fully awake and you wanna retell what happened in that dream, you totally forget EVERYTHING about it.
This always happens to me. Which pretty much makes this post quite pointless as the whole point of this post was to tell you my cool dream. Oh well.
Sad - 7:09am@ December 15 2000
I'm sad. Not just because i just finished watching Titanic again but because i'll be the last one left amongst all my friends here to leave the dorm for the holidays. Oh well. I won't be alone for too long though. I'll be gone by noon tomorrow and i'll be off to Singapore on Monday. Tomorrow'll probably be the last time i'll posting for this site should i not have any access to the net at all from then on. I'm also gonna have to pack away my Dreamcast and Playstation and all my games and VCD's and shit (Be patient grasshopper. Soon the word DVD will be used far more often than VCD).
The last 3 people that i know will both be leaving today. One this morning, another this afternoon and the last one later tonight. And then i'll be all alone for about 12 hours or so.
*cry*

Sweet - 9:37pm@ December 14 2000
Nothing much to post about really. I made myself a cool little remote login thing for my e-mail account at the bottom of my side bar. That way i can just check my mail from this site without having to access my e-mail account's login page.
Sweet.
I am the smartest man in the world. Oh yeah, i've also just received confirmation that Petaling Street IS indeed in Malaysia and not in Singapore. I was right.
Damn, am i good or what? Haha.
Eyes - 8:31pm@ December 14 2000
I'd just like to point out that the pair of eyes that you see on the far right of my green banner type thing at the top of this page are Brooke's. Yep. Those are her eyes. Just like to point that out. For no reason whatsoever.
Things that make you go "Eh?" - 12:47pm@ December 14 2000
You'll know there's something seriously wrong with you if you start talking to yourself in a Scottish accent when you're inside your bedroom all alone at 5 am in the morning while eating Double Stuf Oreo cookies.
I actually did that today. I don't know why. I'm weird that way.
It's alright, i know where it is... - 12:13pm@ December 14 2000
Okay, i'm not that stupid. I have come to my own conclusion that Petaling Street is indeed in Malaysia and not in Singapore as i previously had doubts about.
I think.
RM$25 - 12:04pm@ December 14 2000
Fuck yes! Somebody e-mailed me about DVD's:
Your Name: G101
Comments: if DVD's are your interest i suggest you check out petaling street where they now sell the fake DVD copies complete with the special features and additions that the original would have. the only thing is that the packaging is crap....but what would you expect for RM25?
Yay. I won't have to spend $160 - $180 Malaysian dollars just to buy one DVD! Now if i only knew where the hell Petaling Street is.....
I should get out more. The only places i've been to since i came here to Malaysia 3 months ago is the area around Sunway where i am right now and Kuala Lumpur. Wait. Or did he mean Petaling Street in Singapore? If there even is such a street in Singapore. But he did say that the DVD's cost RM$25 so that would imply Petaling Street to be in Malaysia. Blah. I dunno.
I suck.
Anyway, i shall ask around for the whereabouts of this much fabled Petaling Street where they sell knock off DVD's for RM$25.
Accidently - 10:51am@ December 14 2000
Hmm. It seems that it's Angela's birthday today. Angela's a friend of mine who used to visit this site. I dunno if she still reads it but a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her anyway if she's reading (which i doubt it).
Angela Angela Angela...hmmm...hehe, i remember the time i accidently touched her ass 4 (four) times in one day. Or was it twice? I dunno. I've touched a lot of asses in my time. Haha. But that's another story.
Read: accidently.
Mayonaise - 10:38am@ December 14 2000
Haha. I was just looking at my stats and i saw this IP address:
mayo.edu (129.176.230.23)
Haha. Mayo. As in Mayonaise. That's funny. Well it is to me anyway. Then again i do have a weird sense of humor. I didn't know there's actually a mayo.edu out there. I wonder what it is. A college? A university? It must be. I mean, it does have an .edu behind it.
Mayo. Haha. I am easily amused.
Eh? - 10:30am@ December 14 2000
Look at the top of your browser. See that tagline i put in there right after where it says f.u.b.a.r news? Yeah well don't ask me what it's supposed to mean because i have absolutely no idea myself.
Now - 9:07am@ December 14 2000
You know, it's surprising. Even though i posted less than the previous day yesterday, i still got more hits than that said previous day. What is the world coming to? Logic would entail that if you post more, you get more hits. But i guess yesterday was an exception to the rule. Anyway, i'm leaving for Singapore soon. But i want my DVD player now!
Bummer - 9:05am@ December 14 2000
I didn't sleep all night. I've been awake since yesterday. My eyes are red. All my friends are going home for the holidays. I'll be the last one to leave. This sucks.

Moffatts - 8:04pm@ December 13 2000
The fucking Moffatts are coming to Malaysia on the 16th to do a concert here at the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park which is exactly right next door to my school's campus. I bet i'll be able to hear them all the way from the dorm like the other night when we had that BBQ party and that rave concert thing was on in the Lagoon (which we could see because the dorm overlooks the theme park).
Anyway, i saw a poster of the Moffatts concert thing in plastered up in the mall.
They look like monkeys with all the facial hair that they grew.
Games - 7:59pm@ December 13 2000
Went to the mall. Bought 2 more Dreamcast games. Gunbird 2 and Pod Speedzone. I guess i'll have to update that list again! I'm up to 83 games now.
Girls - 6:14pm@ December 13 2000
I'm gonna make it a habit to change my top green banner type thing every once in a while. I'll keep cycling through all the banners that i have every few days/weeks or so. So far, i've only got two of them made. Expect more as time goes by.
Tomorrow - 4:12pm@ December 13 2000
So much for staying in the library all day. Nevermind though. Tomorrow will be another day.
Oh well - 4:04pm@ December 13 2000
I woke up late again. Probably won't be posting that much because the library's closed. It's a public holiday today. Bummer. Now i'll have to pay at a cybercafe to post. Oh well.
Illiterate - 5:33am@ December 13 2000
I haet it when i make spelling or grammerical wrongs.
Games list - 4:46am@ December 13 2000
I did a count on how many Sega Dreamcast games i own at the moment. I have exactly 81 games. If for some odd inane reason somebody wants to actually see all the games i own in a list form, click here and there it is. It'll be updated whenever i buy anymore new ones. Not that anyone cares or anything.
Knackered - 4:21am@ December 13 2000
I've just spent the past 4 hours or so cleaning up my room and readying my stuff my for trip to Singapore. A slight change in plans though, i'm actually gonna be arriving there on the 18th and i'll still be here on the 16th and 17th. Whether i'll still be able to update is still up for debate. I'm gonna be staying at an Aunt's house on those days and i'm not sure i if i can get net access over there. Anyway, as always, if i can find a way to post, i'll post. But if i can't, well then i can't. It's that simple really.
Since my finals are over, i'm pretty much free from now onwards so i'll probably be spending most of my time in the library being online since i've got nothing else better to do anyway. I'd like to be doing somehing else like going out to someplace or whatever but that'd involve me spending money. And besides, i'd be hella tired walking around and shit so i think just sitting down in front of a PC in the library for most of the day would be a sweeter alternative.
Plus the net access is free. Haha.

23 - 5:46pm@ December 12 2000
I've just realized that i've mentioned the words 'Dungeons & Dragons' at least 22 times in my posts within the past 24 hours.
Oops. Make that 23 times including this post.
Hope - 5:32pm@ December 12 2000
Man, i really really really hope that the Lord Of The Rings trilogy (to be released sometime next year) won't be as bad as Dungeons & Dragons. But with Peter Jackson (Dead Alive, Heavenly Creatures, The Frighteners) directing, it probably won't be as bad as D&D was. Hopefully it'll be good and go down in history as being the next Star Wars. I hope.
Another movie that i hope will not suck ass is Spiderman. Being a fan of both the Spiderman comics in the days of yore and also an avid Sam Raimi (Evil Dead 1 & 2, Army Of Darkness, Darkman, The Quick And The Dead, A Simple Plan, and um...For The Love Of The Game) devotee, i truly truly hope that he can do justice to the Spiderman name. I wish to offer one bit of advice to Sam Raimi.
DO NOT LET JOEL SHUMACHER ANYWHERE NEAR THE PRODUCTION.
Batman Forever and Batman & Robin sucked so bad, it's not even funny. Anyway, Sam Raimi's also making The Gift with Katie Holmes and Billy Bob Thornton. I hear rumors of Katie Holmes actually exposing her breasts in this one. I can't hardly wait!
Jerking off - 5:14pm@ December 12 2000

Yes, i'm quite the cheeky little fellow.
Convoluted - 4:51pm@ December 12 2000
The post i just wrote before this one has got to be one of the most convoluted posts i've ever written so far. I use too many words and i write too much (nonsense).
Eh? - 4:49pm@ December 12 2000
I don't know if this is just an isolated case but whenever i use the http://fubar.nathanism.com/news.html URL, i always get this page displayed with the old plain green banner type thing at the top of the page. But whenever i use the http://nathanism.com/fubar/news.html URL, i get this page displayed with the new green banner type thing. The new one being the same old plain green banner type thing with pictures of hot women and Matrix-like binary type shit superimposed in the background. It's weird. I wonder if it's like this on other PC's aside from the ones in this here library because i'd hate to think that some of you might be missing out on my new green banner type thing if this isn't just an isolated case as i presume it to be.
Twins! - 4:47pm@ December 12 2000
I'd just like to take this opportunity to wish Jia Shin (the one on the left) and
Jia Ying (bad picture) a HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY. They're twins and they presumably hot. Well, that's what most people who've signed my guestbook on my other (sucky) personal homepage have said anyway. Those pictures can be seen over there too. I won't give you the URL of my other (sucky) homepage because it sucks and i'm ashamed of it. Haha. But if you look hard enough, you'll find a link to it on this site.
Anyway,

Choose you own adventure - 9:30pm@ December 11 2000
I used to be really into all of this AD&D RPG crap. I had the board game, complete with those ridiculous 12 sided dice, i read all the books, i bought all the magazines, i even gratuated into playing Magic The Gathering and all those other medieval card games and RPG's. I like the Medieval times. That's probably why i like Army Of Darkness so much. And i absolutely loved those 'choose your own adventure' RPG books. I'd be there reading through one book at least a dozen times choosing alternate paths in every new medieval 'adventure' i went on armed only with the required paper and pencil and of course, my trusty dice and i'd just be 'role playing' the night away. Of course, this was like...9 years ago or something. I've phased out of it all now.
I wish i still had those books. I loved those books. They're gone now. Probably chucked away somewhere in the storeroom back home torn and tattered being attacked by the evil dust bunnies.
D&D - 8:50pm@ December 11 2000
I just got back from the...(wait for it)...mall. Had my usual dinner except for the fact that i ordered a Big Mac instead of my usual Double Cheeseburger. Heh. I guess you could even say that i had my unusual dinner.
No. That would be lame.
Anyway, i bought two movies on VCD while i was there. I got myself Dungeons & Dragons and Quils. Now, i've done absolutely no research on the new D&D movie and all i know about it is that it stars Justin Whalin, Thora Birch (Mmm...i like), Marlon Wayans and Jeremy Irons. Now i'm going into this movie with the assumption that it will suck. Big time. I am going to assume that Justin Whalin's character is going to be some kind of super goody two shoes. I'm expecting that Marlon Wayan's character will provide comic relief. I'm expecting cheesy pickup lines to be used whenever a pretty girl is in frame. I expect an OTT performace by the main villain (which is most likely gonna be Jeremy Irons). I expect the use of unconvincing CGI for the appearance of the Dragon. In other words, expect this movie to suck. Big donkey balls.
The other movie i bought was Quills, the new Kate Winslet movie. It's a period drama piece. Heh. Well, i guess this proves that i'm not all about dumb mindless horror movies such as Dead Alive or Army Of Darkness. I actually do like watching dramas. My favorite period flick would be Emma. I liked that movie. I've got it on laserdisc. Gwyneth Paltrow was pretty funny in that one.
Anyway, i bought this movie with great hopes that Kate Winslet will get her kit off again like she did in Holy Smoke. In fact, i'm just gonna scan through the entire movie in fast forward, look for any nude scenes, watch it, AND THEN start the movie from the beginning and watch it properly.
Or maybe not. Anyway, i hope she gets naked. I'm quite deprived.
I never really liked Justin Whalin. The fact that we share the same first name makes my dislike for him even more profound. I've always found him annoying looking. There's just something about him. He looks weird. Especially in Child's Play 3. And in the Lois And Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman tv series, i just found his character downright annoying. I haven't seen a movie with him starring in it since Child's Play 3. I wonder if he'll suck in D&D as bad as he did in Child's Play 3.
Anyway, as bad as D&D *might potentially* be, at least it's got Thora Birch in it. Mmmm.
But i doubt she'll do an American Beauty and take her top off. D&D is PG-13. At least i think it is...
Anyway, my COM 170 final is gonna be on tomorrow at 2:30pm. I should really be studying right now. Oh well. I'll watch D&D, scan through Quills for any nude Kate Winslet scenes, jerk off (just kidding...really) and then i'll study for my finals.
WARNING - 6:36pm@ December 11 2000
If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless post is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your house. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned.
Amazing - 5:18pm@ December 11 2000
It's amazing how people still actually come here everyday despite my boringosity.
Interesting - 5:16pm@ December 11 2000
I promise to be more interesting tomorrow.
Boring - 5:13pm@ December 11 2000
Man, i just realized how incredibly boring i am today.
DVD - 5:00pm@ December 11 2000
Well, it seems to be more likely that i'll be getting a standalone DVD player rather than a PS2. As sweet as it would be to actually own a PS2 that can play both games and DVD's, i'm much more interested in DVD's than PS2 games at the moment. And as a DVD player, the PS2 just doesn't cut it compared to a standalone player. I'll probably get myself a PS2 sometime next year anyway just in time for when Metal Gear Solid 2 launches. I'm getting the PS2 solely for that game alone. And it won't be out for at least another year.
If only i could buy both a DVD player AND a PS2. That would be great.
Collecting - 4:40pm@ December 11 2000
I used to play that Magic The Gathering card game alot back in the day. I had quite a few valuable cards too. I've got this Shivan Dragon card that's worth US$40. I think. I used to collect comics too. I've got some valuable Spiderman comics and an X-Men comic that i bought for $40. I've never read them and they're still in their original plastic covers with backboards unopened. I hope to sell them for a million dollars someday.
McDonalds - 4:29pm@ December 11 2000
I've been eating dinner at McDonalds everyday for the past two weeks or so. And i always go for the set meal number 3. One Double Cheeseburger, one large Coke and one large Fries. And a strawberry sundae on the side. I've been eating cheeseburgers every single night for the past two weeks (...i think i've mentioned this earlier). The funny thing is, the cheeseburgers here taste like shit. They're just so...tangy? Salty? I dunno what the correct term is but i do know that the damn burger just attacks your taste buds in a weird way. Yet, i'm strangely compelled to order the same thing every single time i'm over at McDonalds. There's a KFC outlet right next to McDonalds. But i'm sick of chicken. And why is it every single time i order some Original Recipe chicken from KFC, i always get these soggy pieces of 'wet' chicken. Aren't they supposed to be crispy? So i'm usually left with no other choice than to get the spicy chicken (which incidently, are always crispy...sometimes too crispy). But i don't like KFC now. I like McDonalds (even though i think they're cheeseburgers taste strange). And besides, KFC's set meals are more expensive (by about a dollar or so).
I could always go someplace different that's even cheaper. But it seems like i'm addicted to those weird tasting cheeseburgers.
Oh the other day, i was *this close* to getting that free fries and coke thing. You know, that thing where if they don't get my order onto my tray within 60 seconds, i get a free Coke and small fries? Well, the timer was halfway through counting down to zero and the guy cheated. He knew he couldn't get my order onto my tray within 60 seconds (because they were out of 'readymade' cheeseburgers and they had to make a fresh one) so he pretended that there was 'something wrong' with stopwatch and he reset the timer. What a fucker. I hate that guy. I'll never let that guy take my order ever again. What a fucker.

admittedly i only played with the PS2 DVD for a few minutes, but i guess you're right about the lack of a remote. most functions can be performed with the pad, but there are some that had seemingly been ignored - for example i only found one forward and rewind speed, whereas a good DVD player will enable 2x, 4x and 8x speed. also, some of the menu options are a bit crap, i tried the sound performance on both Dolby Digital and DTS speakers, but it turns out there's no way to save the options. everytime you want to watch a film you have to tell it to output in surround sound. that was the most frustrating part. maybe i didn't play with it long enough...
it's not bad. however, i know you're a film junkie and i'd hate for you to be disappointed, therefore i'd recommend a stand-alone DVD player. PS2 games are nice, but don't you have enough consoles already? =)

Guestbook - 3:42pm@ December 11 2000
You know, throughout the six or so months of me running this site, from what i can remember, i've only gotten 5 (five) 'bad' guestbook signings. Only five. Not that i'd like more or anything. Including the one you see below, only 5 'bad' guestbook signings? Oh well.
Anyway, sign it or something. Oh yeah, i'll know your IP address and where you're from if you do actually decide to write something (oooooh) 'bad'. Haha. Not that i'll actually hunt you or anything. I'll just berate you on this site. =P
I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me - 3:26pm@ December 11 2000
I got this funny guestbook entry in my...guestbook. Let's read it together and i'll comment on it after:
comments : Do u know what a loooooooooser u r!!!!!!!!!!!!
ur life is just the mall stupid games (for fuck sake ur 20) and this site. u live for this site. u have no life! no life at all!!!!!!! i come here and read ur shit and think hahah man my life is fucking great compared. do urself a favour and kill urself.
Haha. Do i know what a loooooooooser i r???????? Of course i do! If you go take a look at my 'about me' page on my other (sucky) homepage, you'll see that i actually say: "what a loser i am....in fact...'Loser' by Beck is my theme song." The funny thing is, just yesterday, i was thinking of all the good post titles i could use and i came up with "I'm a loser baby so why don't you kill me". It's pretty ironic that you brought up this up. Now i have the perfect post to use it with! Haha. And yes, when you live here in Malaysia with nothing else better to do, the mall IS the only viable alternative. If i decide not to go the Sunway Pyramid Mall (which is like a 5 minute walk away from my dorm, i practically live next to it)...hmmm...lemme see...i know! I'll go to all the other malls in Kuala Lumpur! And believe it or not, there are people over the age of 20 that actually still play games. Some of em even do it for a living. Videogame magazine editors, they're all mostly over 20. And i think you're mistaken when you say i live for this site. If you haven't noticed, i totally ignored this site for about (*shock!*) 12 hours in favor of sleeping today!
Anyway, you really don't have to point out the obvious you know. You see, i know precisely what i'm doing and i know precisely what i'm writing and how it may come off as being good/bad/loserish to other people such as yourself. You see, all this loserishness (if there's even a such word)...it's intentional!
But hey, at least you actually read the stuff i write. Haha. Thank you for the hits. And thank god i don't spell the way you write. Can u imagine me spelling every single 'you' or 'your' or 'yourself' or 'are' in all my posts with a 'u' or 'ur' or 'urself' or 'r'??? Haha, i don't know what even more funnier. My intentional loserishness or your spelling 'prowess'. Haha.
I'm up - 2:45pm@ December 11 2000
Sorry about that. I woke up late again today. As always, whenever i wake up late, my hits suffer. Ah well. Anyway, thought i'd just like to point out that Nathan and Kip have done quite a good job with their new site designs. I on the other hand, am not going to redesign my site (yet). The only small change you're gonna see are in my posts and in that lovely new Matrix-y banner type thing up there.
Anyway, i'm still kinda disappointed by the uncalled for suckiness of that Evil Dead game i bought.
*sigh*
Oh well - 1:01am@ December 11 2000
Disappointment, Evil Dead: Hail To The King be thy name. Man...what a fucking bummer. The game isn't as hot as the title suggested. I loaded it up, filled with anticipation ready to actually play the game but i restrained myself from actually hitting the start button to begin things. I waited patiently till the intro was over. I smiled to myself when i heard Bruce Campbell's voice talking over the intro. The intro was cool enough. It had this Matrix-like binary overlay effect...except instead of being green, it was red. The game starts off about 8 years after the supermarket ending of Army Of Darkness. It seems to ignore the events of the first Evil Dead movie and only acknowledges the second and third movies in the series. But no matter.
Anyway, i really really hoped that this game would be good enough to carry on the Evil Dead legacy but alas...the developers fucked up the game pretty royally. The controls are horrendously atrocious and the collision detection is non existent. You spend most of the time swinging your chainsaw in the air than actually hitting any of the deadites. Most of the time you're just hoping that the deadites would just accidently run into your axe rather than having you to actually chase them down. So you figure, screw the axe and forget the chainsaw. Nothing can reckon with the trusty BOOM-stick. Yep, that would be the case, except that guns do hardly a dent of damage, even when powered up, the Boom-stick doesn't boom!
And the enemies in this game are so annoyingly difficult. And the fact that the keep respawning every few seconds or so...instant frustration. Very disappointing.
I wanted so much to like this game. It's a shame really. Thankfully not all of it went to waste. The music's actually fucking great. It's performed by an actual 42 piece Hungarian orchestra and a 40 person choir supervised by Tommy Tallarico (A fucking good American videogame music guy). It's pretty cool atmospheric gothic opera stuff. The graphics are okay i guess for a Playstation game. It could be better though. And of course, Bruce Campbell is a great as ever. I genuinely smiled everytime i heard him say all his classic Ash-isms like "Come get some" or "Let's go". Ash has some handy lines all ready on the tongue, including a few hysterical comebacks all new for this game. They even rewrote a few of his most groovy lines. Going up against a gigantic tree monster, Ash backs up and revs the chainsaw: "Yo, Treebitch. Let's go."
Groovy.
For what it's worth, it's still Bruce Campbell at his best. Well, near best. He seems strangely subdued at times. But hey, as least he's still working. Whatever project Bruce Campbell is involved in, i'm there. I even bought Broken Helix, Pitfall and Tachyon: The Fringe just to hear Bruce Campbell voice acting in them.
Anyway, it's sad to say that the bad of this game outweighs the good. I really hope they clean up the Dreamcast version. Fix the flaws and shit. I really wanted to like this game. I really did. Being the die hard Evil Dead fan that i am, this game just comes off as a major disappointment being the way it is right now. I really hope the DC version will be at least slightly better.

My life is complete - 7:45pm@ December 10 2000
Oh. My. God. I just got back from the mall (again). I did the usual things i usually do everyday when i go there. Had my dinner at McDonalds and went around to all the videogame stores checking out the games and shit etc etc. But this time. It was different. As i was browsing through this one store looking for any new good Dreamcast games available, my hopes crashed and burned as i saw no new good Dreamcast games whatsoever. Then from out of the Playstation section came the stare of Bruce Campbell's eyes.
It had arrived.
Evil Dead: Hail To The King was out on Playstation. I nearly died on the spot. Needless to say, i instantly took the game into my hands and proceeded to the counter. I was so fucking stoked. Then the store clerk just happened to mention to me that it came on two CD's. I nearly died...again. Oh what have i done to deserve TWO DISCS worth of interactive Evil Dead action with original Bruce Campbell voiceovers spanned across two discs of Playstation goodness to be in my hands right now? Never did i expect it to come on two discs as no videogame magazine ever made mention of this fact. And never did i expect that by 7:30pm Sunday night tonight would i have in my possesion Evil Dead: Hail to The King for my Playstation.
Well, i did kinda wish that they had the Dreamcast version. But alas, i'll settle for the PS version for now. I'll definitely get the DC version when it does eventually arrive...soon enough hopefully.
Anyway, i have Evil Dead: Hail To The King. My life is complete. I'm going back to the dorm now to play this sucker to death.
Hail to the king baby.
Mall report - 6:07pm@ December 10 2000
Well, it's business as usual at the mall and as expected, the cinema was closed off. And about 4 floors of the Lifestyle department store was closed down for the day too. I have no idea how bad the fire got to those two places...the cinema and the department store i mean. All the other stores weren't affected by the fire though. So that's good. Oh yeah, the mall stinks of burnt plastic and ash. At the end of the day, the mall's still functional. There were tons of people doing their Christmas shopping and shit.
Thank god it's still up and running. I'd probably die if i didn't have that mall to go to everyday.
Mall - 4:46pm@ December 10 2000
I haven't been to the mall yet to check out the damage from the fire. But from what i've seen from afar, the whole right wing of the mall was burned up pretty good. Poor mall. It'll probably take a few months to restore everything.
No mall + me = *cry*
PS2 - 4:38pm@ December 10 2000
Such a boring day. Boring boring boring. I can't wait to be liberated from all this boredom next week when i leave for Singapore. It'll be great. I'll be getting myself either a DVD player or a PS2 over there. Now before you say "Dumbass, the PS2 HAS a DVD player built into it!", i'd just like to point out that from what i've read, the DVD playing aspect of the PS2 isn't as hot as a standalone DVD player. It has less features and besides, with the lack of a DVD remote control on the PS2, i'm kinda worried that i won't be able to access any hidden 'easter eggs' (special hidden features within DVD's that require key presses on the DVD remote) and that i won't get the extras that i'd be getting with a normal DVD player (like a zoom feature and reverse slow motion for example).
It seems like Kip has had first hand experience with the PS2 and it's capabilities. I'm intrigued to know what he thinks of it all. From what he's said, the DVD part of the console isn't that bad. But i still have my doubts. Ah well, if anyone out there has a different opinion about the PS2's DVD playing capabilities, e-mail me and tell if me it's worth getting over a standalone DVD player despite any shortcomings the PS2 may have.
Joke - 7:08am@ December 10 2000
Two boys were sharing a hospital room. One boy asked the other what he was there for. So the boy says:
"For circumcision"
Then the other boy says:
"Oh man, i had that done right after i was born and i couldn't walk for a year"
Transfer? - 5:00am@ December 10 2000
I've been here at WMU for a semester now. I found out that once i've completed at least 2 semesters here, i have a choice of transfering to the WMU campus in Michigan. One of my friends is planning to transfer sometime next year probably in August. But he's not transferring to WMU though. He's thinking of transferring to WSU in Washington. I've been playing around with the thought of transferring to some other University other than WMU once i get to the States. Thess suggested that i transfer to UCF in Florida (Thess lives in Florida coincidently. Heh). I could also try transferring to another University in...maybe say...Los Angeles or New York or someplace else. I dunno. It's still a bit early for me to think about this but i won't rule out those three states should i start to seriously consider transferring to another University.
Resurrection - 4:34am@ December 10 2000
I watched this pretty cool Se7en knock off last night. It was called Resurrection. Christopher Lambert and that guy with the alien in side him from Alien Resurrection was in it too. Wow. Shit. What a coincidence. That guy has starred in two movies with the word 'Resurrection' in the title. I just noticed that.
Anyway, this movie was almost exactly like Se7en. The mood, the style and the fact that it has scenes in the rain (just like in Se7en) and the way the killer chooses his victims. Just like Se7en. Thankfully not everything was alike. This one's more gorier and has it's moments of comedy. I actually laughed twice. It's an alright movie. The shaky cam effect during the filming of certain scenes was a bit distracting though. I hate that NYPD Blue style of filming with the camera moving around all over the place. I didn't mind that much when it was used in The Blair Witch Project but i kinda wish they used less of it in this movie. But then again, i had a headache when i was watching this movie. I probably wouldn't have noticed it as much if i didn't have the headache.
I guess it's an alright movie in the end. Watch it if you liked Se7en. But don't expect it to be better.
Not bad - 4:21am@ December 10 2000
I got kicked off the island on Survivorerer. It's been fun i guess. Most of the islanders found me a bit too weird. Haha. I guess i lived up to nick eh? Psykotik. That's what i am. Haha. Anyway, i still find it amazing that i survived for as long as i did. Being the nobody that i am, to come in seventh place is pretty good. I beat out Nathan, Brand X, Better Blox, P34ch0r and most of the other e/nderground webmasters/posters.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
Cinema - 4:16am@ December 10 2000
A friend of a friend of mine was in the cinema when that fire broke out at the mall. Everybody was evacuated so i don't think anybody died.
Good - 4:09am@ December 10 2000
I still stand by the fact that this site is still one of the few sites that you should just visit every few hours or so just to see if there's any new posts and such. Amongst every other site out there, this is still the only site that has more posts per day than any other site.
Now if i could be right enough to add the word 'good' behind 'posts' in that last sentence.
Thinking - 3:45am@ December 10 2000
I've been thinking of signing up for one of those blogger things. I'd still like to keep this layout though. I wonder if i can just use the blogger thing to update this site. I'll probably have to change a few things. It might prove to be more work than i bargained for.
Nah. I won't bother. Anyway, about reinventing myself, well, i can't promise anything drastic but i'll be regulating my behavior to be a bit more realistic from now on. No more overblown mindless zany drivel in my future posts. Well, not as much anyway. I'm gonna make an effort to be less zany and start being more grounded. I realize that it's been quite annoying to read my site lately these past few weeks. I read my own site and I get annoyed! Haha. Ah well. Guess i was just trying too hard. Or maybe i'm not trying hard enough. I dunno. But what i do know is that i'm a slacker.
Actually i have no idea what the hell happened these past few days. I got the lowest hit count ever yesterday. Which is weird because i've been getting contant hits of over 200+ almost everyday since. I can blame myself yesterday's hit total though. I mean, not posting at all for most of yesterday is probably why it was as low as it was. Add to the fact that it's the weekends when people apparently don't surf the net, it's no wonder my hit count was so low.
You know, i don't really care that much about my hits really. It's just that i've nothing else better to talk about. Okay, i take that back. There're tons of other better things that i can talk about but i just seem to like to talk about my hits. As insignificant and as annoying as it is. I admit, i was a hit whore before...and i might even still be but i do realize that hits aren't that important. It' probably the second most important thing to strive for but it sure isn't the first. And yes, i also do realize that this 'hits aren't important speech' has been done before a gazillion bajillion times before by every single e/n webmaster but hey, for the sake of this post, i thought i might just bring it up again. Besides, it's fills up space and makes mediocre posts such as this seem impressive length wise. Anyway as i was saying, i'd rather have 100 loyal readers than 300 one hit wonders everyday. Sure, knowing that 300 people visited your site does and can make you feel proud but how many of them do you know actually read what you write? They come once, they come again the next day and then they're gone forever. Whereas if you have loyal readers, well...they'll come almost everyday without fail and they actually do read your stuff. And that's what makes it worthwhile. Loyal readers who actually read your site. Not just one hit wonders.
It'd be great if you could convert those one hit wonders into loyal readers that come back for more each day but alas, while it is possible to do so, it can only happen to a few of them. Different people, different strokes. Some come here and think they like this site and they come back for more. Some come and they think it sucks ass and just dismiss it as an afterthought.
Another thing i realize. Self pity is not cool. Sure i employ self pity techniques in my posts on this site (e.g. "I suck") but know that i'm not really looking for any nor do i want any. I just do it as a running joke kinda thing. But i doubt people take it seriously anyway. And yeah, it starts grating on the nerves after a while once you start to actually notice it in almost every post. So i'm gonna try cutting down on it. It's gonna be hard though being the pessimist that i am just to abandon this self pity schtick that i'm oh so good at doing. But hey, change is good.
Anyway, i'm not looking to change my layout anytime soon. But hey, knowing me, being the hypocrite that i can be sometimes, i might just back out on my word and do a layout change anyway. As i said, we'll see how things go.
Sad news - 1:14am@ December 10 2000
Just as i was walking back to the dorm after my last post (from a cybercafe), i saw this huuuge black cloud in the sky. I was like, "What the fuck?" and then i realized that it wasn't a cloud. It was smoke. I looked to see where it was coming from. Then when i finally got a good view, i saw that the mall was on fire. The whole right side of the mall...on fire. Like a HUGE fire. I have no idea how it happened but this is pretty bad. The cinema is on the right wing of the mall. I wonder if there were any people in there watching the midnight show or whatever when the fire broke out. It was huge. The black cloud of smoke could clearly be seen despite the dark night sky. I hope they can contain the fire. I'm gonna head to the mall tomorrow and check out the damage. If it's open that i. I highly doubt it though. Hope nobody died or anything.
Change is good - 12:30am@ December 10 2000
I'm gonna reinvent myself come Monday. I'm gonna change.
Oreo - 12:16am@ December 10 2000
I bought a roll of Oreo cookies yesterday. I'm eating them right now. They're not the normal kind though. These are the 'Double Stuf' kind (well, that's what they call it on the packaging anyway). It's got twice the cream in them.
Oreo's are yummy.
BBQ - 12:10am@ December 10 2000
Me and my roommates and a coupla other guys and gals from the other dorm rooms threw a big outdoor BBQ party behind the dorm last night. We chose a good spot under some trees and we got this great view of the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park right next to campus. And what fucking great timing we had too. There's this big rave/trance/techno/dance concert going on at the same time in the park so we had some pretty good music at our BBQ party. And we even got to watch the concert from where we were. It's great living in a campus that's right next door and overlooking a theme park.
Anyway, we had a good time i guess. Cooked some chicken, hot dogs, had some sandwiches, some BBQ fish and other assorted BBQ party type food. Typical BBQ stuff.
A coupla my friends started going nuts halfway through and started dancing and doing all kinds of crazy shit. Climbing trees and pretending to snipe at the dancers on stage and shouting out at the people at the concert (as if they could hear us from all the way there). It was a good night i guess
You know, i think yesterday was the second time EVER where i failed to post just because i didn't feel like it. Instead, i just slept through the whole day. I've been feeling pretty weird these past few days. My enthusiasm for posting has slightly waned. I guess i'm just tired that's all. Not tired of posting, just tired physically. What with my finals going on my efforts to post to maintain my now decreasing hit count, it's just been draining me tired. Sometimes i can't even think straight anymore. At least i'm gonna be gone on holiday next week. It'll give me a chance to get away from it all including this site. I need a break from everything.
I'm thinking of changing my layout and starting anew. I dunno. We'll see how it goes.

$$$$$ - 7:25pm@ December 9 2000
But hey, at least i won myself US$0.24. That's cool.
Boot - 7:22pm@ December 9 2000
Well, i've been booted off Survivorerer island. Oh well. See the results here. It's surprising really that i lasted this long. Well, at least i can fully concentrate on this site now. No more half assed posts from now on.
Oh yeah. I just remembered. It's the weekend. I always get low hits on weekends.
Sleep - 6:07pm@ December 9 2000
I have just discovered the beauty of sleep. I slept the whole day. And i didn't even sleep that late last night. Anyway, it's not like anybody would miss me posting or anything since NOBODY VISITS THIS SITE ANYMORE.

Happiness - 6:09pm@ December 8 2000
Ah well. If my hits can't make me happy, at least Thess' site can. She updated today. Twice actually. Well not really twice but it seemed like it. To me anyway. You see, within one day 'here', i saw two posts that she posted on two different days 'there'. Confusing i know. Time zones do weird things to the chronology of posts. Just forget about all this time business and go on to the next paragraph.
Welcome to the next paragraph. Anyway, here are some 'not so interesting to you but quite interesting to me' findings that i found (mostly related to Thess and her site because...uh...she's very...relatable? Anyway...):

I do realize - 5:43pm@ December 7 2000
Yes. You're absolutely right. I'm the most boring person ever with the most most boring site ever.
Didn't realize - 5:38pm@ December 7 2000
Wow. I've mentioned Katherine Heigl's name a lot today.
Slack - 4:44pm@ December 7 2000
Just got out of my SOC 200 class. I got 18 out of 20 for my presentation that i did about a week ago. Not bad if i do say so myself. I mean, my presentation sucked ass. Really.
Anyway, my finals are tomorrow. And i have my COM 170 final next Tuesday. I'm gonna have to start studying right after i finish posting for the day. I am the epitome of procrastination. If you look in the dictionary, you'll find my picture under 'procrastination'. I am slacker extreme. I know this but i don't do anything about it. Much like everything else in my life. Especially my relationship with my girlfriend right now. I know it's all sinking faster than the Titanic but i still don't bother doing anything about it. She probably hates me, she doesn't visit this page because she hates it. And we fight everytime we're on the phone. Long distance relationships suck. I don't think i can keep this one up. We've been together for almost a year now. What a shame.
Anyway, it's all going down the drain and i'm not even doing anything to stop it. Somebody slap me.
A friend of mine sent me this link. It's not particularly interesting (if you don't live in Brunei that is) but it's worth a read anyway.
Anyway, Katherine Heigl is hot. Oh and i found out what the URL for the 100 Girls site was. I haven't been able to check it out from school but i *think* it's the right address. Check it out.
Words of inspiration - 3:07pm@ December 7 2000
Remember, YOU ARE UNIQUE.
Just like everyone else.
Damn filters - 2:03pm@ December 7 2000
You know, i'd post up the URL for the 100 Girls site but i've totally forgotten what it is. I'd run a search for it but you see, the thing is, the stupid school server over here has this dumb site filtering sorta thing. If you enter any URL that has the word 'teen', 'girls', 'nude' or any other words that would have sexual and/or pornographic implications, you'll just get this white 'access denied' screen. You can still surf certain porn sites though. Only the ones without URL's that have those said words on them. I haven't tried to myself but i've seen other hopelessly deprived guys surfing them now and again in this here library.
Anyway, since i can't give you the address of the 100 Girls site, i can give you the next best thing: Katherine Heigl pics!
Katherine Heigl is so fucking hot.
It's true...it's true...
E-mail/Well i'll be a monkey's uncle - 1:41pm@ December 7 2000
I have a regular reader? Wow. What a concept!
"This is Simon from Kip's site. I just felt like letting you know that your
site is one of the very few I read regularly. Thanks."
Up late - 1:12pm@ December 7 2000
Man, i've been getting up pretty late in the day these past few days. This is not good. I'll really have to get to bed earlier tonight. I've got my SOC 200 finals tomorrow afternoon at 2:00pm. Gotta use every single hour i have beforehand to cram all that SOC 200 shit in my head.
Best scene ever - 1:39am@ December 7 2000
Since when did Katherine Heigl grow those wonderful wonderful breasts? Shit, is she fine or is she fine? She is fine. There's this one scene...where she's on top of Jonathan Tucker's character...in her bra, and her breasts are just like...Oh. My. God. I can't even begin to describe it. I think i like Katherine Heigl. Yeah.
Kirsten Dunst who?
Best movie ever - 1:08am@ December 7 2000
I've just watched what i personally think is the best teen movie i've EVER seen. I mean, this one even beats American Pie, Road Trip, Can't Hardly Wait and every other teen movie i can think of. If you ever see this movie called 100 Girls, DO NOT HESITATE TO EITHER BUY OR RENT IT. Just do it! You WILL NOT be disappointed.
I actually knew about this movie earlier this year. I went to the website and thought "Shit. I gotta watch this". It's about this freshman at college who meets his dream girl in a dorm elevator during a blackout. He never sees her face, but instantly falls in love with her. In the morning, the power's restored but the dream girl has vanished. All he knows is that she lives in an all girls dorm. He then sets out on a semester long journey to find his mystery girl amongst a hundred female suspects. Hence 100 Girls.
I tell you, this movie is soooooo fucking funny, i actually shed a tear laughing. And i'm not even kidding about this. A tear was actually shed out of my left eye while i was laughing out loud during this one twisted scene (And i really do mean it when i say it's 'twisted'. You'll know what i'm talking about when you see it for yourself). I cried laughing. It is that funny. It takes quite alot to make me laugh. Much less cry during a movie. But oh this movie actually made me do both. At the same time. And oh man...the dialog....it's so fucking good. It even has the best Stifler type character since...Stifler himself! Joy! And nudity. Oh so much totally unnessesary gratuitous nudity. I feel faint. And probably one of the best parts in this movie, Katherine Heigl strips down to her bra.
Oh. My. God.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE. AND YOU'LL LOVE IT TOO. 100 GIRLS. GO WATCH IT NOW!

Really - 6:05pm@ December 6 2000
Shit. This 'almost lost it all' thing is really taking away the limelight from my 'I am the all singing, all dancing crap of the world' post. That post down there rivals the length of Dennis Rodman's schlong.
Go read it and forget about this 'almost lost it all' thing.
Really - 6:00pm@ December 6 2000
Okay, i fucking SWEAR that today's 'drama' wasn't all just an elaborate prank or site gimmick. I honestly was this close to losing about 70K worth of posts.
Thank god for the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP and the C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files folders. I love those folders. I will visit them everyday.
Hahahaha - 5:48pm@ December 6 2000
Look at me beg for help down there. Pathetic.
Lifesaver - 5:39pm@ December 6 2000
The C:\WINDOWS\TEMP and the C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files folders are fuckin' lifesavers man. Bless the person who invented it.
THANK GOD - 5:36pm@ December 6 2000
Holy shit. Man am i ever so relieved. Fuck. Okay. Calm down. In case you weren't here to witness it, this site was down for about 3 hours or so. I seriously fucked up my only copy of my news.html on my floppy disk and i damaged the fucker while i was uploading it. It stalled and got corrupted at the 7% upload state. Anyway, during those 3 hours or so, you would've seen either 7% of this site loaded into your browser, a white screen telling you i fucked up, or a 30% rebuild of this page without the sidebar.
Anyway, after scouring the cache of every single PC in this library, i finally found one (and only one!) with my news.html stored safely intact in the cache. *phew*
Well, everything's back to normal now. Damn. I would've really cried if i'd actually not been able to restore this page back to it's former glory.
FUCKING SHIT 2 - 5:17pm@ December 6 2000
Please help me. Look through your cache and if you can find any HTML file of my site from early this morning/afternoon with all posts dated before December 5th, PLEASE copy that HTML file and e-mail it to me at webmaster@psykotik.zzn.com.
This is not a prank.
FUCKING SHIT - 5:14pm@ December 6 2000
Okay. I have seriously fucked up my news.html page. I've think lost all posts dated Dec 1 - Dec 5. All i could salvage was today's posts. And i also lost my sidebar. The page you see now is NOT 100%. I'm trying desperately to remedy this problem. You can help me get back all those lost posts by looking through your browser's cache and looking for my site in there. If you can find the HTML file of my news.html page in your cache, please copy it and send it to me via e-mail. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.
Choices - 2:39pm@ December 6 2000
I'm still having trouble deciding whether i should get a DVD player or a Playstation 2. On one hand a DVD player has better picture and sound quality and more features. But it can't play games. On the other hand, a PS2 can play games and DVD's...but at the expense of a poorer picture and sound quality and also less features on the DVD front.
Scary - 2:10pm@ December 6 2000
I dread having to spellcheck that monstrousity of a post down there for spelling and grammatical errors.
I am the all singing, all dancing crap of the world - 1:59am@ December 6 2000
Fight Club. Good movie. A great twist ending. I never expected it when i first saw that movie. Much like the way i didn't expect The Sixth Sense's twist ending. Of course you can only watch movies with twist endings so many time until it all starts to get boring. I mean, you already know what the twist ending is so you'll most likely be spending most of your second or third or fourth sit through the movie just scrutinizing every single scene within the movie looking for the 'clues'. So yeah, i watched Fight Club again just to look for the 'clues'. Much like i did when i watched The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable for the
second/third/fourth time.
I gather everybody's seen Fight Club but for the unfortunate people who haven't seen this great movie, i'm gonna talk about the ending abit here. Highlight the text to read what i have to say. And for god's sake, don't fucking spoil the movie for yourself by highlighting it anyway even if you haven't seen the movie. You'll spoil the entireexperience of Fight Club by doing so.
*SPOILER START*
Now, we all know that Edward Norton's character is Tyler Durden but doesn't it seem strange that nobody really cares when Edward Norton's character (let's just call him Jack from now on) talks to Tyler Durden...in effect, talking to himself? There's this one scene that just doesn't work for me. The scene when Tyler and Jack are in the limo with the two Project Mayhem members in the back seat. Now if i were those two members, i'd be pretty freaked out if i saw my boss talk to himself at length. Fight Club's a great movie to watch once or twice but it falls apart after repeat viewings. I guess it's all the same with movies that have twist endings. Except for Reindeer Games. That movie was just stupid. But at least you got to see Charlize Theron topless. Heh.
*SPOILER END*
Anyway, Fight Club is still a good movie nonetheless and i will be getting the DVD somewhere along the road. Just for the extras. It's a pretty good DVD. Up there with the Gladiator and T2 and Final Destination DVD's. All of which i have my eyes set on.
On the topic of spoilers, i'll never forgive myself for actually reading the whole synopsis of The Game in this one movie review magazine. I hadn't watched The Game (another movie with a twist ending) and i thought to myself "Okay, i'll just read everything EXCEPT for the last paragraph". Stupid idea. I guess my field of vision was too big or something. I somehow caught view of what the ending was and i totally ruined the whole movie. I never bothered to watch it after that. Not after i ruined a perfectly good movie for myself. I did finally watch it though. Early this year on HBO. But of course, it just wasn't the same with me already knowing the ending. I'll never forgive a friend of mine who told me that Jack was the one who dies in Titanic. Bitch.
Interesting note: The Game was directed by David Fincher...who also directed Fight Club. Both movies has twist endings. Infact, all David Fincher's movies have twist endings. Alien 3, Se7en, The Game and Fight Club. Heh. Makes you wonder if the next M. Night Shyalaman (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable) movie'll have a twist ending too.
You can tell i like movies. I really have this deep seeded passion for movies. I'm not just your average movie goer type person. I don't just watch movies. I experience them. It fucking annoys the hell out of me to hear people talk or give comments about a movie WHILE the movie's playing. I mean, if you're gonna give comments, just do it AFTER the movie. These people watch the movie, talk during the movie and then when something suddenly happens, they ask "What happened? What did he/she say?"
Well now, you wouldn't have to ask that question if you weren't too fucking busy TALKING DURING THE MOVIE would you? Dumbasses. That's why i prefer to watch movies alone so i can't keep my full conecentration directed into the movie i'm watching. Hence, experiencing it. Not that i hate watching movies with a group of people though. It's just that it's really annoying to have to watch any movie with some person giving a fucking running commentary. This isn't ESPN, this is watching a movie. You don't hear anybody give running commentaries on HBO do you?
Anyway, on a totally unrelated note whatsoever...has anybody ever noticed that periods or fullstops (you know...these '.' things) are NEVER used in ANY Archie comics? I mean, every single sentence ends with either a '?' or a '!'. I swear, go rummage through your old comic collections and fish out any issue of an Archie comic. You won't be able to find even ONE sentence that ends with a '.' because they always end with either a '?' or a '!'. Never a '.'.
It's true. It's true.
You know, personally, i always though Betty was hotter. I guess that's where them term 'Betty' was derived from. You know...like in the movie Clueless. As in "Woah dude, she's like, a total Betty. Shyeah!". A Betty meaning a total hottie of course. You did know that didn't you?
Betty or Veronica. The eternal struggle of choice. Anyway, you know those Disney animated cartoons? Yeah of course you do. You know that Ariel chick? She's hot. And so was Belle. You have no idea how many times i watched Beauty And The Beast. I even have the Special Edition Work In Progress Edition Laserdisc of Beauty And The Beast. It's a shame that Beauty And The Beast was the last great Disney chick. Princess Jasmine, Esmerelda, Pocahontas and all the recent ones just don't cut it anymore. Yep, Ariel and Belle are hot. Even though they don't really exist. Heh. Oh and don't even get me started on Jessica Rabbit...
You know, sometimes i feel like shit referring to girls as 'chicks'. I have the utmost respect for girls really. But i'm torn between going 'mainstream' and just calling 'em 'chicks' as opposed to the more politically correct 'girls'. Or 'women'. Depending on how old you are. You see, some girls might take offence to me just generalizing the female population simply into 'chicks'. But some girls might not even give a damn. The worst thing i'd want a girl who reads this site to think of me is that i'm some kind of pig. Or something. And yeah, at times, you might even read certain sentences on this site written by myself involving the words boobs and ass or whatever and it may seem a bit..."Ugh...what a pig"...you know? Hell, if i were a girl, i'd certainly think so. But hey, you just have to realize that that's just how i am on this site and on this site only. I'm a totally different person in real life. Why am i even talking about this you ask? No, it's not because some chick complained to me or anything, it's just that i wouldn't want any misunderstandings, should they so occur, to arise. And believe me, i've caused a fair share of misunderstandings in the past with this site of mine. Remember that arrogance thing a while back? October 31st. Go look in the archives.
But hey. At least i don't refer to girls as 'bitches'. Ha.
It's funny how some people can see me as being a "Sweetheart of a guy"when i can easily come off as being arrogant and whatnot on my site (Quick shout out: Thess, you're a doll yourself too). A dear friend of mine in Canada wrote an e-mail to me a few days ago. She went to this site and she told me that i was so different on here. She said it was as if i was trying to make myself sound evil or something. Haha. But then she proceeded to go on saying that i'm probably just doing this 'evil schtick' just to pull in more readers and get more hits (Damn, she onto me). She also said that she was glad that she knows the real me. Haha.
Now there's a girl who understands who i really am and what this site is really about. Big ups to Judy. Wahey! =]
You know, throughout this post, i've been pretty much just stating the obvious. Is that a bad thing? No. But it sure is pointless. Nevertheless, it does make for some slightly interesting reading. I think. Hey what do i know? You're the reader. I just write whatever that comes into mind.
Okay. I've just trapped myself into a corner here. I have no idea how to end this post. I would try ending it with something witty but my wit has apparently deserted me. All i'm left with is Jack and Shit.
And Jack left town.

Gotta <3 her - 9:21pm@ December 5 2000
I was just reading through Thess's updated links page and saw that she referred to me as a:
"Sweetheart of a guy"
*swoon*
<3 x 100^3 & a --<@ for Thess
Same old thing - 8:55pm@ December 5 2000
So i went, i ate and i looked but i didn't find any. Oh well. So much for an interesting mall visit. The guy who took my order at McDonalds even got it done in just 15 seconds. Shit. I would've liked some free fries and a Coke. Anyway, after dinner, i went to take a look at the DVD's at that video store again. And i was this close to buying the Gladiator DVD. It's so awesome. A 2 DVD collectors edition. I'm definitely gonna get that one in Singapore. i also have my eye on Final Destination and Frequency. Three Kings is cool too. Tons of extras.
But for now, it's just shitty old sub-VHS quality VCD's for me. I bought L.A. Confidential, Fight Club (Again for the third time. I have three copies of it now. Two of them at home) and The Long Kiss Goodnight (Hey i enjoy Renny Harlin movies. I liked Cutthroat Island and Deep Blue Sea. Guilty pleasures i call them). Anyway, i headed back to the dorm after that.
Whoopie.
6:30pm - 6:30pm@ December 5 2000
Okay. This is one fucking boring day. I have absolutely shit all to write about and i'm feeling extremely hungry. I'm gonna head to the mall at 7:00pm. Gonna eat my dinner at McDonalds or some place. And probably stare at all the DVD's in that video store again. Haha. The clerks working there must be sick of seeing me just stand there looking at the DVD's and never even buying a single one.
Oh hey, i found out what you'll get free if the McDonalds people don't get your order onto your tray within 60 secs. You'll get some small fries and a small Coke. Or Pepsi. Or whatever the hell McDonalds uses. For free. Sweet.
Anyway, i hope to see some hot chicks at the ice rink skating about. Then maybe i'll have something interesting to post about later. I haven't posted about any hot looking chicks in ages.
Boring - 5:32pm@ December 5 2000
I just got out of my SOC 200 class. My SOC 200 finals will be on this Friday at 2:00pm. I hope i don't forget. Anyway, it's been a pretty uneventful day really. Apart from one of my sandals being broken, not much has happened really.
There's a contest of sorts over here. It's actually really just a poll involving e/n or blog sites that started out being based in Brunei or are Bruneian based themselves (Mine falls in the former category). You can vote like once per day or something. Somehow, my site happens to be in the running so if anyone of you wants to vote for me or whatever, be my guest. It doesn't really matter anyway if i win or lose. Amongst all the sites listed, mine's still considered the biggest anyway. So should i win or lose (and i'm quite certain i'll lose), i won't really gain any more exposure as a result (because it's just a small scale thing). But the bragging rights would be cool though if i actually did win anything (which i won't).
You'll find the links to the other sites listed if you follow enough links on this page.
Up - 5:18pm@ December 5 2000
Kip's site is back up. Rejoice!
Survivorerer - 2:25pm@ December 5 2000
I know not many of you actually follow my exploits on Survivorerer island but i'm glad to say that i survivorerered the last vote off. Fuck. Man, i came in second place in that vote off because 2 people voted for me. I really hope i won't get voted off the island!.
By the way. X said i sucked shit. Now i know who to vote for next time. Hahaha.
Oops - 2:01pm@ December 5 2000
Yeah so i woke up late today. My hit count for today is gonna suffer as a result of this. But oh well. I think i've messed up my sleeping pattern again. I stayed up till about 5:00am watching Born On The Fourth Of July. That was a good movie. I liked it better than Platoon. It's even got Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe in it too. And naked women. Haha. I also watched Dead Alive again. I love that movie. But time hasn't been good to it. It's still an enjoyable movie to watch but it's not as rewatchable as any of the Evil Dead movies. And believe me, i've watched the Evil Dead movies more times than you can count.
But anyway, my finals are coming up soon. I'm gonna have to study and shit. This sucks. Oh and did i mention i broke one of my sandals? That sucks too.
This sucks - 1:56pm@ December 5 2000
One of my sandals broke as i was walking up to the library. What a day it's already been.
Monday, December 4, 2000
Don't worry - 10:44pm@ December 4 2000
It's okay. I regained what little sanity i had left in myself and i didn't buy the T2 DVD. Oh but i was this close in doing so though. I went and i inspected the DVD and much to my dismay, the limited edition metal casing was pretty banged up in one of the corners. All dented out of shape. So yeah, to say the least, the packaging was less than perfect. I decided that i'll just wait till i get to Singapore and try looking for another copy there. Hey i also saw the Gladiator DVD. It was lookin pretty sweet too. Tons of extra features. I've made up my mind. I'm definitely gonna get the T2 DVD and either Fight Club or Final Destination. I'll probably try and squeeze in either Gladiator, MIB Limited Edition or another extras packed DVD as my first few purchases.
I'm probably gonna get a DVD player instead of a PS2. But then again, i might just change my mind at the last minute. So as of yet, nothing's writ in stone.
Anyway, i didn't buy the DVD but instead i went and bought Dead Alive and Born On The Fourth Of July on VCD (DVD copies). We're gonna watch Dead Alive tonight. Should be fun. I love Peter Jackson's movies. Heavenly Creatures and The Frighteners are among my favorite movies ever directed by him. He's also directing the Lord Of The Rings trilogy (which i personally think will be the next Star Wars). As for Born On The Fourth Of July, well, it's the second 'Nam movie in Oliver Stone's trilogy of 'Nam movies. Seeing that i watched Platoon last night, i figured why not watch the whole trilogy one by one.
And finally i bought a magazine. Ultimate DVD. Haha. It's some british DVD reviews mag. You can tell that i'm pretty hyped up by all this DVD business. I also went to this one store and just looked around at all the DVD players they had. Then i stumbled across the portable DVD players section. You know...those small DVD player discman type of things with the screens attached to them. Shit. Those things are soooo fuckin' cool. I wish i could afford one. They cost around $5000 Malaysian dollars. Shiiiiit. I really hate the way Malaysia prices everything. It's ludricously inconceivable! Fucking stupid import tax and government tax and shit like that. Blah.
Anyway, DVD's are cool. I want one now.
All set - 6:28pm@ December 4 2000
Okay. There's no question about it. After reading this, i am definitely gonna buy the sucker even though i don't have a DVD player...yet.
Anyway, while you're at it, take a look at the Final Destination DVD. It's fucking AWESOME. I'll definitely get that one next time. The Fight Club DVD is pretty sweet too.
Argh. So many DVD's, so little money...
Temptation/Stupidity - 5:18pm@ December 4 2000
I'm reeeeeeeally tempted to just go out and buy that T2: The Ultimate Edition DVD right here and now (even though i don't have a DVD player...yet). I mean, i KNOW i'm gonna be getting a DVD player of sorts soon enough. I figure why not just buy a DVD right now and stare at it till i can finally watch it when i finally get my DVD player...or PS2. But the thing is, DVD's are ridiculously priced over here. It's gonna cost me $180 Malayisian dollars if i get that T2 DVD. But then again, if you do take into account the exchange rate, it's still considerably cheap (although a bit more expensive than if you were to buy it straight from the US). Hmmm...yeah. I think i'm gonna get that DVD when i go to the mall tonight.
Good idea no?
Do the math - 4:45pm@ December 4 2000
You know, i've just realized that i'm gonna be getting quite a shitload of expensive stuff when i'm in Singapore. I mean...okay...let me see. I'm gonna be getting a DVD player that'll probably cost $500+ Singaporean dollars. OR a Playstation 2 that'll probably cost upwards of about $700+ including games and peripherals and shit. I'm gonna be getting a cell phone which could cost about $300+ and i'm also gonna be getting a laptop PC soon which'll probably cost $3000+ if my dad buys it from Singapore.
Damn. That's a lot of money.
I am the smartest man alive - 4:25pm@ December 4 2000
I just got out of my COM 170 class. I aced that pop quiz. I got 100%. I am great.
Two things at once - 1:13pm@ December 4 2000
The school's server is back online. It's as slow as hell though. I'm studying for my pop quiz as i type this. I don't think this'll do me any good doing two things at once. But nevertheless, at least i'm doing something productive. Albeit half assed. Anyway, It's Monday. I should be getting more hits now. I like hits. Hits make me feel good. It makes me want to post more. But hey, i post more than enough on any given day so it's not really an issue. By the way, unbelievably so, i'm actually still survivorerering on that damn island. I nearly got voted off the last time. Infact, everyone almost got voted off. I really hope i win. But that's highly unlikely. I'll get US$15 if i win. And if i convert that to Malaysian currency, it'll amount to about...3 times as much. I think.
Actually i don't really care about the cash prize. I just want the bragging rights of being the sole survivorerer on that island. Haha.
Equate this - 12:18pm@ December 4 2000
Weekends + Low hit count : Me + :( = *cry*
(But i'm still happy about being able to get either a DVD player OR a PS2. Sweeeeeeet)
Rejoice! - 12:03pm@ December 4 2000
YESSSSSSS! (as expressed in a Macaulay Culkin Home Alone way with fist in the air). My dad replied to my e-mail about getting either a DVD player or a Playstation 2 and he said:
"Ok, you can have either a DVD or PS2 whichever is the cheapest."
Oh yes. Oh yes. And the fun doesn't even end there. As an extra bonus (which i never even asked for), he's also gonna get my mom to get me a brand new digital cellphone (because i need a new one...even though there's nothing wrong with my present one) when we're in Singapore! Joy! Aaaaaaand.....my dad's also gonna get me a laptop PC this January!
Hahahahhahahhaa. Envy me.
Muff, Pennsylvania - 10:46am@ December 4 2000
And the 12 other worst real town names in America.
Morning wood - 10:20am@ December 4 2000
I can't believe my dick woke up earlier than i did this morning. Haha.
Amazed - 10:16am@ December 4 2000
It's funny. I woke up this morning feeling totally uninspired with absolutely shit all to write about and now i've covered topics spanning from pop quizzes to Charlie Sheen to cans of smashed assholes.
I amaze myself sometimes.
Charlie Sheen - 10:12am@ December 4 2000
I watched Platoon last night. It was a good movie. I liked the tracer effects with the bullets. They came off looking more like lasers actually. Platoon's probably Charlie Sheen's best movie ever. He didn't start sucking until after he made that movie. Okay so i enjoyed The Chase...that had Kristy Swanson in it. And sex in a moving car at high speeds. But anyway, Charlie Sheen sucks now. The last Charlie Sheen movie i (couldn't believe i) sat through was The Arrival. And that was way back in 1996. That was a bad movie with equally bad dialog. To this day, i can still never forget this one:
"I feel like a can of smashed assholes"
Wha??
Bickety BAM - 10:00am@ December 4 2000
Well so much for getting up early to post. The school's server's down. Anyway, i'm typing out this post offline. It'll probably be uploaded later on in the day after 1:00pm or something. Maybe earlier. I don't know. At least this gives me time to do some revision work for my COM 170 class. I've got a pop quiz later today covering 3 whole chapters. Whoopie.
And my SOC 200 finals comin up in this week. Damn. Looks like i'm gonna be pret-ty busy offline.

Hidden track - 10:10pm@ December 3 2000
The hidden track on the new Limp Bizkit CD sucks.
Micheal Bolton Lyric or Dr. Seuss Poem? - 10:05pm@ December 3 2000
1. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And you are the one who'll decide where to go.
2. And i won't look back, i can go the distance. And i'll stay on track, no, i won't accept defeat. It's an uphill slope, but i won't lose hope. Till i go the distance, and my journey's complete.
3. The seed of love is so deeply planted inside the heart is where it lives and grows. We'll keep it safe we don't take it for granted. Let the hard rains fall, let the cold wind blow.
4. How did it get so late so soon? It's night before it's afternoon. December is here before it's June.
5. Wo, so strong, oh i can't let go. Oh no, wo, so strong. Wo, so strong.
6. Please let me be, please go away. I am NOT going to get up today!

Address - 9:19pm@ December 3 2000
Just a reminder. My webmaster@psykotik.zzn.com e-mail address is up again. It was down for a while. But anyway, send all correspondance to that address from now on.
E-mail me please.
CD - 8:55pm@ December 3 2000
I bought the new Limp Bizkit CD. It's...alright i guess. Nothing special. I'm only up to the 4th song right now (I'm listening to it as i type). I have no idea why i decided to buy the damn CD. Maybe it was because i watched M:I-2 the other night. Limp Bizkit was on the soundtrack.
Hope! - 3:43pm@ December 3 2000
I just e-mailed my dad about me getting a DVD player when i'm in Singapore. I hope he says yes!
If he doesn't, i'll get my lawyer to sue him. For something.
And... - 3:20pm@ December 3 2000
Once again, i have a lawyer and he will not hesitate to kick your ass if you mess with me OR my site.
He sure as hell scared the shit out of Reignfire.
"Stop scaring me" - reignfire.net
Transform and roll out - 3:13pm@ December 3 2000
Wow. I just read that the DVD version of Transformers: The Movie is out. It's a collectors edition with the full uncut version of the movie, storyboards, animated chapter breaks and an interview with the movie's composer. The last time i saw this movie was probably like...10 years ago or something. Only now do i know that the movie actually voice starred Leonard Nimoy, Robert Stack, Judd Nelson, Eric Idle and Orson Welles.
Shiiiiiit.
Korn...and videogames?? - 3:07pm@ December 3 2000
I just bought the December issue of Gamers Republic and i was pretty shocked to find an interview with Jonathan Davis from Korn about videogames near the end of the issue. Wow.
I am the law - 3:02pm@ December 3 2000
You know, i've just recently acquired my own lawyer to deal with any legal matters pertaining to my site and myself. His name is Ken McCormick. From now on, if anybody decides to fuck with the FUBAR, you WILL get fucked by my lawyer. As Reignfire NEARLY was. Witness the e-mail that was sent out to him for using my HTML on his site (I can post it up here because it's my property but he can't or he'll be in deep shit).
Ph34r my laywer. He will, quote unquote, "be thorough and pursue all criminal and civil claims against you" if you dare to mess with me. Hahahahaha.
Hiatus - 2:27pm@ December 3 2000
Well, it's official. I'm gonna be leaving for my holidays in Singapore this 16th of December. I'm probably gonna be there till early January. I have no idea if i'll be able to post for this site once i'm there. So i *might* be going on hiatus for about 2 weeks or so. Give or take a week. So yeah, expect less posts (or no posts at all) after the 16th. I just hope there's gonna be easy net access for me once i'm there. I'd hate to leave this site hanging.
The countdown begins.
WTF - 1:33pm@ December 3 2000
I read this on some newbie site:
...young e/n Justin...
What the fuck? Young? Young my ass. You're the 'young' one. I'm fucking 20 years old for fucks sake. And you're what? 12? And your site's only been up for like a week or something. I've been online for nigh on 6 (six) months. And what's this about me not talking about my Dreamcast anymore? I still do. See? I'm talking about it right now. And you linking to Thess? Only I can link to Thess. That's MY schtick. And i still do <3 Thess. In fact, she <3's me too:
nada000000: <3 x 10^3
So get your facts straight boy. I am NOT young e/n. Blah. Eat my ass and stop riding on this 'controversy' as it's really really ridiculous and i won't have any part of it. And nor do i want to spend time posting about it as nobody really cares about it because it's only something small scale.
You have lost a few brownie points. Now get your act together before i let my lawyer loose on you.
E/N - 1:14pm@ December 3 2000
E/N? Yeah, that's what i am. Extremely nonsensical...only when i don't bother to spellcheck my posts for errors in spelling and meaning. Anyway, i went over last nights posts and made a few 'corrections'. Nothing major. Just thought i'd point this out here as i've got nothing else better to post about anyway.
2010 - 4:59am@ December 3 2000
Just finished watching 2010 a while ago. Yeah, i went to the mall and picked it up last night. It's an okay movie i guess. Barely. Considering it was directed by that hack Peter Hyams (Timecop, End Of Days). It's definitely a faster paced movie. And it does attempt to answer what happened at the end of the first movie (2001). But in the end, it still leaves a few things unanswered. I still have no idea what the monolith is. But i'm thinking that it creates life or something like that. I dunno. I should look it up on the net. There's bound to be some information about 2001 and 2010.
Anyway, Larry came in halfway through 2010 and he brought Trainspotting with him. So we watched it after 2010 was over. I like Trainspotting. I have the Criterion Collectors Edition Laserdisc of Trainspotting at home with all the extra scenes, commentary and all sorts of other extras. Kelly MacDonald is hot in that movie. She gets naked too so that's a big plus. Haha.
Anyway, a friend of mine lent me his copy of Omen 3. I haven't watched it yet. I've seen the first and second ones. I'll probably watch it later tonight or something. Once i've finished watching part 3, all that's left is part 4 in the series. And then i'll be able to say that i've watched all of the Omen movies. Yay.

Scary - 11:36pm@ December 2 2000
It's kinda weird that she referred to me as Psykotik and not Justin. Who does she think is hot? Me or my 'alter ego'? I take it she saw my photo. But still, we're two different 'people' (Although we look alike. Haha). I'm not the way i am on this site as i am in real life. But hey, she thinks i'm hot. So that's a pretty big ego boost i guess. Even though i know i'm not. Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Can't argue with that.
Something else that scares me is this site's webmaster (or should that be webmistress?). She is scary.
Wow - 11:21pm@ December 2 2000
I just got an e-mail from this one girl. She's funny. It wasn't very long but she did say this though:
"I think you're hot, psykotik. I really do. Really."
Haha. Okay.
I'm hot.
Down - 10:36pm@ December 2 2000
Kip's site is down. What a loss. =(
I hope it'll be back up soon.
Ridiculous - 10:10pm@ December 2 2000
You know, i find this whole "...FUBAR wannabe..." thing quite ridiculous. It's funny as hell though but still..i find it quite ridiculous. But i guess all the sites that're involved in this 'controversy' are benefiting from whatever exposure they may get as a result of this. But as all controversies go, they do finally die down after a while.
It's funny, after i posted that...
"But anyway, yeah it's true though!!!.....And everybody's a FUBAR wannabe!!!! Have you noticed that every single E/N-blog site in Brunei has a link to your site? You're famous, baby. EVERYONE wants to be you. :o) hehehe. Ego boost for you."
...comment, i KNEW that it was gonna spark a controversy. A small one it may be but it's still a controversy nonetheless. But hey, once again, i never actually said anything. That comment was from one of my readers. I don't really give a damn whoever links to me or not. But if you do, well then hey, good for you. You'll earn some brownie points from me.
Did anyone see the layout spoof reignfire.net did on my site? Click here for a screenshot. That stunt was probably one of the biggest tongue in cheek statement about this 'controversy'. But as good as it was, i had to have one of my lawyers e-mail him about his actions, here's the e-mail that was sent:

So yeah, if you fuck with the FUBAR, you'll get fucked by my lawyer. Hahaha.
Hmmm - 9:50@ December 2 2000
I didn't post that much after 12:00pm today. But it's the weekend anyway. Nobody comes here that much during the weekends as my hit count suggests. Things'll be back to normal on Monday.
Not at all - 12:01pm@ December 2 2000
I wanna see what's inside her first aid box.
What? It's not a first aid box? Ohhh...
Rivalry - 10:47am@ December 2 2000
You know, the 'rivalry' (if you can call it that) between all these (Eat The Eye, Reignfire, Transferror, So Messed Up and Haven) Bruneian based weblogs that's just come up is just priceless. It's fucking entertaining (to me anyway) to read them all now and hear how each and everyone of them bitch about layouts and copying and, to a certain extent, being a "...FUBAR wannabe...". Hahaha. Damn. This whole incident's definitely gonna be chronicled in the 'posts of particular interest' section once it all goes into the archives.

I didn't say that. I repeat. I did not say that. Haha.
Close - 10:09am@ December 2 2000
Shit would you take a look at this?? I almost got voted off Survivorerer! Fuck that was close. Haha. Actually i came up with this bright idea in one of my posts.
"Not to sound like we should start another silly alliance or anything but we all wanna win this Survivorerer thing right? Seeing that there's only a small number of us left, we should all vote off the person that we each think is going to win. So that that person won't be able to win. Haha!
Good idea no?"
Unfortunately somebody caught on to my brilliant idea:
"Baxil on Psykotik: "If he keeps coming up with fantastic ideas like "vote for whoever you think is going to win", he's going to win for sure. So, uh, I'm voting for him."
Oh well. Anyway, i hope i win.
Quickly! - 9:44am@ December 2 2000
Hey, go to this site NOW! Hahahahaha. Damn. Why did i have a feeling that something like this would happen after the "none of this FUBAR wannabe bullshit like everyone else in Brunei!" guestbook signing post i did yesterday?
Hahaha.
2001 - 5:02am@ December 2 2000
I just finished watching 2001: A Space Odyssey. Let me tell you, that movie isn't for everyone. But damn is it good. It's a very very slow movie and most of you might fall asleep halfway through but it's still worth watching...at least once...just for the experience. You can draw your own conclusions on whether you think the movie sucks or not at the end. Personally, i think it's good. It's thought provoking. If you're wondering about the ending, no it doesn't make any sense whatsoever but it's still worth watching if only for that computer that goes psycho. Scary as hell man. And what the hell is that Monolith thing anyway? Looks like i'm gonna have to get the sequel (2010) if i wanna find out.
I also watched M:I-2 just before that. I still stand by my first impressions of that movie that i made when i first watched it. It's just 80 minutes of story setup and 40 minutes of non stop action at the end. You know, i swear, if John Woo does another movie where he has pigeons or doves flying in slow motion into the air, i'm seriously gonna laugh out loud. He ALWAYS has birds flying about for dramatic effect in his movies. Just watch for it in Face Off. Or Broken Arrow. Or Hard Target. You'll see. Hell, even Charlie's Angels ripped off that flying bird thing of his. I actually laughed when i saw that bird in Charlie's Angels (on the bridge with the two race cars). It's a tongue in cheek in joke kinda thing i guess. Only people who notice these small things will 'get' it. Kinda like when Arnie says "I might be back" in The 6th Day. I believe i was the only one who got that joke amongst all my friends here when we were all watching that movie.
Yep. Make no mistake. I like to keep attention to detail.
Warped - 9:39am@ December 1 2000
You know, i happen to think that i have one hell of a warped sense of humor. But then
again, that's just me. I mean, i'm a weird guy. It's true. Think about it. No normal
person would do this or this OR this to their school
planner right? A normal person wouldn't write a faq page as warped as this.
Nor would any normal person spend so much time making this (beautiful creation).
Take for example the sense of humor i displayed in one of my posts over at Survivorerer. We were issued a
challenge to write a post which would inspire as much pity as possible from Antwon. Everyone else wrote long ass posts
detailing how much their lives sucked. Wanna read what i posted?
Now to me, that is funny. I have no idea whether anyone else thinks its funny or not but
to me, that is funny. But then again, i have a warped sense of humor. So yeah. I'm weird
that way.
Anyway, here's Antwon's response to all of our life sucks entries over at Survivorerer:
"Damn, you guys' lives suck. That's the saddest thing I've heard in ages. X's
hopeless lifestyle... Geth's lonely drunken escapades... Psykotik's span of
breastlessness... criminy, all that was disheartening. Ultimately, though, it was Mr.
Jesus' over-the-top tale of pedestrian woe that won out- though what a close competition
it was. Read all about it here if you want the full-on details."
Mall - 9:08am@ December 1 2000
I just got back from the mall. Had my dinner at McDonalds. They have this thing now at the
counter where you get push this button on a stopwatch and if they don't get your order
onto your tray within 60 secs, you get something free. I have no idea what you'll get free
though because the chick who took my order spoke so fucking fast, i didn't even get what
she was saying. All i understood was "free". Haha. Anyway, she got my order in
30 seconds flat.
Damn.
I didn't have anything else better to do after that and there were no new games to buy or
anything so i browsed through all the VCD's i could find within the mall. I bought M:I-2
and 2001: A Space Odyssey. DVD copies of course. Man, i really wish i had a DVD player.
Watching M:I-2 on VCD without all the special features that the DVD version has really
sucks. Once again, IF and WHEN i get a DVD player, the first few movies i'm gonna get are
T2: The Ultimate Edition DVD, Final Destination (the extras on this disc are pretty
cool..and so's the packaging), M:I-2, ID4, MIB and Magnolia ("RESPECT THE
COCK"). I'm gonna try and get all the discs that have tons of extras and stuff. Ooh
ooh ooh...i almost forgot. Army Of Darkness: Collectors Edition. Now THAT is a must buy if
i ever do find it.
I got an e-mail tonight. It's a response to that "none of this FUBAR wannabe bullshit
like everyone else in Brunei!" guestbook signing post down there. Scroll down a bit
if you wanna see it. Anyway, i'll just post a bit of it here:
"But anyway, yeah it's true though!!!.....And everybody's a FUBAR wannabe!!!! Have
you noticed that every single E/N-blog site in Brunei has a link to your site? You're
famous, baby. EVERYONE wants to be you. :o) hehehe. Ego boost for you."
Haha. Damn. I don't know what to say.
Anyway, tomorrow's Saturday. The library closes at 3:00pm. I'm gonna hafta get up early
and take advantage of the free internet before it closes lest i want to PAY to post at
some dumb cybercafe.

frame of mind again.
Somebody get her an Oreo. Anything to get her mind off quitting the page. =]

Haha! I just read the most funniest thing ever over at Transferror's guestbook. It seem
that a whole lot of people really don't like his site. But this guestbook signing really
made me laugh. Okay so maybe i didn't really laugh...but i smiled nonetheless. It
takes quite a lot to actually make me laugh out loud...but anyway:

Hahaha. Damn..."none of this FUBAR wannabe bullshit like everyone else in

Well, it is to me anyway.
La la la - 10:43am@ December 1 2000
I was just surfing around looking at other people's weblogs and sites and such...and i
came across these two Bruneian weblogs run by these two girls. Wow. I was pretty
impressed. These girls really do know their HTML. Considering how much most Bruneian sites
SUCK ASS, these one's are really pretty good. And the fact that they recognize my site
enough to have it linked on their pages gives them even more brownie points. Haha. But no
really, they're pretty good.
This site has
just recently been redone with a new layout. I've been to her site a coupla times before
in the past. Anyway, the other
site really reminds me of my old layout...the one with the iframes. In fact, the girl
who runs it really reminds me of myself too. We both write ALOT. Haha. Okay so her English
is a liiiiittle bit shaky here and there...but hey, not everyone can be as good in English
as Edo and i are (He actually pointed out that i'd confused assonance for alliteration.
Damn). But i'd suggest that she keeps the fonts that she uses on her site consistent
though. There's a mix of verdana and times new roman. I'd get rid of the times new roman.
It'd be great (and more neater) if she just stuck to one. And hey, she even links to my
site too! Haha.

Oh. Silly me. I just have to type in www. before my psykotik.zzn.com to get to my login
page. Weird. I never had to do that before...
Move along, this post isn't interesting - 12:55am@ December 1
2000
You know, it kinda sucks not being able to go back to Brunei this month. Everyone i know
is going 'home for the holidays'...as they say. Adi's back from
Australia, Rod's
gonna be back from England, Edo's gonna be back from New Zealand, John and Oliver are
still in Brunei, Majid's
still there (although he'll be joining me in WMU sometime next year) and even Dan the sodomist
is still there.
The only guys i can think of to my knowledge that aren't going back to Brunei are Pat who's in Canada
and Marcus
who's in Australia and myself included, as i'll be in Singapore instead. Man, i wish i
could go back just to see those guys and hang out with them again. But i'll just have to
wait till next year i guess.
Oh well. Nobody would give a fuck anyway even if i did go back. I've never really been the
'life of the party' in that group when we were all still together anyway. I can't see why
it would be a big deal if i did go back or not. They'll manage fine without me...
E-mails - 1:11am@ December 1 2000
Okay, this is really starting to annoy me. For some fucked up reason, my e-mail account
over at psykotik.zzn.com isn't
working. I just keep on getting this stupid Microsoft screen or whatever whenever i try to
access the login page. Stupid zzn.com. I
haven't been able to check my mail for the past 2 days or so. If anybody's e-mailed me
using the form or at my webmaster@psykotik.zzn.com address,
well...i haven't been able to read them. If anybody wants to e-mail me, just send it to psykotik_1@hotmail.com for the time being.
Announcement - 12:15am@ December 1 2000
Just in case it hasn't sunk into your brain yet, i'll be in Singapore for my December
holidays. I'll be leaving probably sometime after the 12th and i'll be in Singapore pretty
much the whole month. I'll be back here in Malaysia sometime in early January. What does
this mean for the site? Well, i'm not sure if i can get internet access that easily in
Singapore so expect less posts during that period of time. I'll post whenever i can if i
can though. I hate going on hiatus. I'll lose hits, lose readers and lose my rhythm and
when i finally do come back, i'll probably have to start over again and shit begging for
plugs telling people that "I'm back" and all that crap. Not exactly something
i'm keen on doing...starting over i mean.
Wow - 12:02am@ December 1 2000
I can't believe it's December already. My finals are coming up in about a week's time,
i'll probably be leaving for Singapore in about 2 weeks time and this site's probably not
gonna be updated for a few weeks...depending on whether i'll have access to the internet
or not in Singapore. I'll probably try to find some cybercafe or something if all else
fails.
Anyway, i went to the mall and i bought a couple of VCD's. I got myself Platoon, Showdown
In Little Tokyo and Dead Alive. Man...Showdown is one really bad movie. The dialog is
crap, the acting is cheesy and Tia Carrere's hair is scary. But it was good to see Brandon
Lee alive and kicking in that one though. It's a shame he's dead now. Brandon Lee was
cool. I think i'm gonna buy The Crow the next time i see it. But not the sequel because it
sucked. And don't even get me started on the TV series.
I returned that copy of Star Lancer that i bought for my Dreamcast and exchanged it for
the PC version. It's a fairly good game. The controls are complicated as hell though. I
can't imagine playing the same game using a Dreamcast joypad. The keyboard controls are
hard enough as it is, playing it with a controller would be torture. Haha, if i were in
Brunei right now, i'd probably give the game to Dan. I gave him my copies of Freespace 2 and Tachyon: The Fringe.
He'll probably like Star Lancer. He likes space combat games.
Oh yeah, while i was at the mall, i went back to that video store and stared at all the
DVD's they had. I really want that T2: The Ultimate Edition DVD and Final Destination.
M:I-2 would be nice too. But first, i'll need a DVD player. Which i hope i'll be able to
get if i can convince my mom to buy it for me. Haha. Higly unlikely but hey, i can dream
can't i? Hmmm...maybe i'll try bugging her about a PS2.....
