Alright. Own up. Who’s been searching for me and lurking around on the new site. Come on now. I know you’re out there. Don’t be afraid. I’m just curious. Go ahead and leave comments. It’s always nice to see new names around. Don’t be a stranger.
That said, to those of you who are around and have been around, try to remember that it’s called ‘comments’, not ‘in-jokes’. And most definitely not in-jokes from other sites. Absolutely none of that shit here please. As i said before, i’m essentially starting fubar from scratch again and i’m trying to make things as accessible to everyone as possible. Not everybody is going to ‘get’ the in-joke comments. It’s just going alienate first time visitors and make them feel like they’re missing something. Now, by all means, if you want to be funny, then go ahead and be funny. But at the very least, make it universally funny and not just funny to 3 people. Granted, (to my knowledge) i don’t think that there’s many new people around at the moment but it’s something to keep in mind in general for the future.
And hey, if anything, there’s always the age old convention of actually leaving proper comments that are actually relevant to the post at hand! Ya! Like wow!

aside from a few relatively hidden links here and there and formal announcements to selected sites, i havent been actively trying to promote (or hide really) the new domain name. but it’s still very possible for people to find me if they feel so inclined to do so at any time. all it takes is a simple google search.

Proper comments are for the fishes.I tried to find the site by searching “avril lavigne nude” like when I firt found it. Ahaha, of course I fail. To think that F.U.B.A.R. was like number 1 or 3 in that search before. Amazing. Avril should send you a check or something for making her so famous. Granted you didn’t, but I’m willing to bet a few people got her CD because of this site. I know for a fact at least one person has…because I am lame. I love Avril though. h8rz \m/

Found the link through the old Fubar. Been reading for a decent amount of time, but never commented over there. I never got the whole forum hierarchy… personally, I figure there’s the site creator and then there’s everyone else, but most people don’t see it that way. I guess there’s something to be said about going through the battles of internet forumdom together, forging a community and such. That might be sarcasm – I’m not sure. Point is, good to see you back.

yeah, i was never a big fan of the forums. back when the site was separate from the forums (kinda like it is now), you’ll notice that i never really contributed much on the (old) forum. i only put it up so other people can play around in it. and it eventually became too much of a hassle to regulate/moderate.
anyhow, i’ve decided that the site should just be the site and nothing else. so no more fubar forums for now.
it’s still there (mostly because i made a whole bunch of front page posts using the forum software, so i cant exactly get rid of it) and you can still sign up and stuff, but it’s pretty much closed off. you can only comment on the old front page posts that’re on there.
