You know what, i just realized two days ago that i have MTV2. I have MTV2! I did not know that. Who the fuck puts MTV2 on channel 43 when regular MTV is on channel 99. Dumb. Well at least now i can actually watch Sic’em Fridays on Fridays instead of Sunday on regular MTV.
By the way, it’s official. Wonder Showzen = the most disturbingly funny show ever. Did anybody catch last week’s episode? I’ve been getting a bunch of search referrals from people looking for the “What is Heaven?” segment and ending up here. Sorry, can’t find it here. Masturbatory Heaven maybe, but not Wonder Showzen’s ‘Heaven’.
Question: “What is Heaven?”
Little girl: “I’ll never know….”
In other news, the American version of The Office airs tonight. Actually it airs right now. 9:30pm EST. I’ve seen it. It’s hilarious. NBC’s definitely got a hit on it’s hands.
You can watch the premiere episode online here if you missed it.
i wonder if mtv2 airs in london…
i hope it does. just to kill my curiousity of this very funny show that you so muchly talk about
one.

I have not seen Wonder Showzen, other than the link you had previously provided. I didn’t think it was all that great. Oh well.
I will watch The Office tonight, though. I’ve been looking forward to it. *thumbs up*

The office is funnier than I expected. Congrats to NBC.
And I’ll have to catch wonder showzen sometime.

I bet it’s cancelled within a month. It doesn’t have a laugh track – which never goes over that well – and it’s basically the same script as the original.

I hate it that they allways try to americanize these shows… I can’t get used to the new faces on these shows if I’ve seen the regular ones… Why can’t they just broadcast the original show? I would think that’s a lot cheaper… maybe it’s because the original series is a bit too edgy? and they have to dumb it down a bit. at least that’s why coupling failed so miserably.

i still havent seen the original bbc version. but i did read somewhere that they’re just americanizing the uk scripts or something for the US show. and hey, scrubs doesnt have a laugh track! and it’s doing pretty well.
oh and about dumbing down the show, that’s to be expected! it’s america! 😮

I tried to watch the original “the office” on DVD about 6 months ago, and I didn’t really like it. But then again, I’m not big on british humor.
Some of it was funny.. but because of the accents, and the dry-ness of their speach, I was really confused of WHAT I found so funny.

The Office was awesome last night. It’s no ‘Office Space’, but it was still hilarious. Steve Carell is great.

yeah, I’m amazed Scrubs has lasted this long but then again it has nurses. Everyone loves nurses. Unless they are heffers. More nurses on The Office may keep it going.

check the ratings then throw a dart at the TV schedule. That’s what NBC usually do.

The Office was decent. Not quite as good as I had hoped, but it had its moments. Hopefully, it’ll come into its own after a few more episodes.
