I saw this at a preview a month or so ago. It’s really entertaining over-the-top fun. There are many action scenes and other good parts not shown in the trailer, so don’t worry. A lot of the acting is pretty bad (including the girl), but Nic Cage is win. If you can just suspend disbelief a bit you’re in for a treat.

A law is nothing but a haphazard invention by any old asshole who thinks he is God . Check Roman history and law, it was legal to marry a 12year old but disrespecting the Gods was illegal and meant the death penalty, and this was the highest culture for thousands of years. Each stage of human history believed their laws were perfect and just and each time they turned out to be faulty and unjust and with our laws nowadays it´s exactly the same. Extortion, threat and gun violence is illegal but the law itself uses extortion threat and gun violence. And if “the law” decides it is time for war, murder is no longer a crime but your duty and you get a medal for killing people and being a murderer. Fuck the law, there is different law for rich and poor people and fuck the people who believe in that SHIT
