    It’s someone’s actual Facebook page, but you can’t view it because user settings typically don’t let someone outside of their network view their page. This person probably has it set so you can’t see them unless certain conditions are met. NONE OF YOU MEET THEM. So since they have no connection to you or whatever the case may be, you can’t view their page, thus redirecting to your own page or the Facebook homepage to sign up.

    actually, it’s really simple.

    just take any raw profile URL and remove the ‘id’.

    so that:

    http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=726384728

    becomes:

    http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?=726384728

    without the ‘id’ in there, facebook will not call up the specific profile page correctly and will just take you to http://www.facebook.com/profile.php which will bring you to your own profile.

    it’s the the ?id=xxxxxxxxxx that makes it go to a specific persons profile.

    btw http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=726384728 does not exist. i just used a random 9 digit number that doesn’t belong to anybody kekeke
