Well to be honest, i really don’t have much to post about. But i figured i’d update the site anyway. Maybe put up some half assed reviews and recommendations or something. Of games, DVDs, music. That kinda stuff. Haven’t really done that in quite a while. So excuse this rather uninspired post if it does end up being crap in the end.
Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle
Picked it up on DVD recently. When i saw the movie for the first time a coupla months ago i hated it. Now after seeing again for the second time, i still hate it. I actually liked the first movie. It was pretty good for what it set out to be. The second one was just too much. Too loud. Too overblown. Too stupid. And this was supposed to be Sony’s ‘big summer hit’ (that never came to be due in part to two reasons: 1.) it sucked and 2.) it blew). Even after listening to both commentary tracks (from the writers and the director), they still couldn’t justify the overall retardedness of the movie. Plus is it just me or did all the girls get really ugly this time around? Bill Murray is sadly missed. Speaking of which, i really need to fucking watch Lost In Translation someday.
Terminator 3 Rise Of The Machines
I bought this DVD around the same time i bought CA2 FT i think. Now i realize that the DVD isn’t even out in the states yet but lo and behold, you can already get it over on this side of the world. Anyhow, the two commentary tracks on the DVD are pretty good. I liked the cast track better than the director track. Mostly because you get to hear Kristanna Loken talk a lot more than she does in the actual movie. She’s got a fucking sexy voice by the way. Wowza. I could listen to her talk all day. I really like her in this movie. Too bad she doesn’t look exactly the same in real life outside the movie though. But she’s hot in T3 and you get to see her butt. It jiggles. Oh and her boobs jiggle too (yes, i am captain obvious). Look out for the scene where she gets stuck to that giant magnet thing toward the end of the movie where she starts spazzing out. Major jiggles there. Hot.
Karaoke Revolution
I’m sure you’ve all heard of Dance Dance Revolution. Well get ready for Karaoke Revolution. I think it comes out November 4th. Maybe 7th. I dunno. It’s not available yet on bootleg but i’m definitely gonna be getting this game once it hits the store shelves. Bootleg or not. You need the SOCOM USB headset microphone thing to play the game though. Or with any other USB headset that’s PS2 compatible. Unlike DDR, instead of dancing, you’re actually singing. And the game judges you on whether you’re doing a good job or not based on the pitch of your voice to the song you’re singing. Why should you buy this game? Well for one thing, it’s got an AVRIL LAVIGNE song on there! Woo hoo! Can you imagine that? Me singing ‘Complicated’? Oh yeah, i’m so gonna rock out.
And if you don’t like Avril Lavigne, well there’s a bunch of other songs on there too.
Here’s the complete song list for Karaoke Revolution.

Texas – Say What You Want (All Day Every Day)
I was listening to Capital FM on the radio yesterday and a song that i hadn’t heard in a long time came on (don’t you just love that when it happens?). Does anyone remember ‘Say What You Want’ by Texas? It was pretty big like in 1997 i think. Not quite sure if it got any airplay in the States but here in Asia and Europe, it was a pretty big hit. Anyhow, strangely enough there’s a WU TANG CLAN remix (!) of the song featuring Method Man produced by The RZA out there. I loved this version of the song when it first came out in 98. After hearing the original again on radio after all these years, it prompted me to seek out the remix on Limewire. I uploaded the song onto my server if you care to download it. Very cool.
Prince Of Persia
I can’t wait till this game comes out. Should probably be out by Christmas 2003 according the the demo that i played. If you pick up the November issue of the Official U.S. Playstation Magazine, you get a demo disc with a bunch of upcoming PS2 games on there, including Prince Of Persia. And oh my does this game look fucking awesome or what. I’d seen screenshots of the game in other magazines before and never really bought into the hype thinking that it’s going to be pure crap like the last Prince Of Persia game which i bought for my Sega Dreamcast and played for 5 minutes and never ever touched again. It blew. But anyhow, yeah, this new one looks incredible. And it plays like a dream. If you have a coupla bucks to spare (US$8.99 to be exact), pick up the magazine and check out the demo. It’s so worth it. Plus there’s also a demo for…
Killswitch
…on the disc. Which looks pretty hot. Can’t really say if it’s going to be a surefire hit but from what i’ve played, it looks to be at least pretty good. If not very good. Official website here.
Daikatana
Ahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha.
Okay maybe only FPS PC Geeks will get that joke. I was bored one night and i somehow found my way onto this page over at GameSpot.com. It chronicles the rise and fall of John Romero (one of the co creators of Wolfenstein 3D and Doom) and the incredibly controversy ridden development of Daikatana. One of the most overhyped and ultimately the most disappointing PC game ever released. Anyhow, if you’ve got time to spare (it took me about 2 hours to get through the whole 36 page article) and if you’re interested enough, check out that link. It’s an incredibly good read.
Finally i leave you with some long-overdue-to-be-posted fansigns which i got like 3 weeks ago. And an e-mail. I always keep forgetting to post them up. Especially in the case of the e-mail. Which i received like a year and half ago. Heh. I actually have like over 20 e-mails which i had always been meaning to post up and respond to on the site. Dating back to January 2002. Which i never did. I’m really fucking horrible with e-mail. Maybe i’ll post them all up sometime just for the hell of it. At least you’ll get to see what kinds of e-mails i used to get on a daily basis back then.
Anyhow, i present to you: Some Drunk People.

Dose it make u feel weird knowing that guys come here and leave with boners? it would freak the shit out of me. knowing that people come here mostly for the porn or get linked for porn doesn’t make u feel a little weird? personally i got over the porn part (i saw most of them) but it is now one of my daily reads you talk about interesting stuff that i agree with, like the Nelly Retardo. keep up the good work even if it involves supplying porn to horny men.

Loved the original ‘Say What You Want’ … can’t quite say the same about the remix.
If I hadn’t heard the original, I’d think this song had a great hook.
The original by Texas wasn’t huge in the States but it got some airplay.

Check out the book Masters of Doom if you want a good, in-depth synopsis of the rise and fall of John Romero, along with the rise and rise and rise of John Carmack. It’s a nice little one or two-sitting read.
