“HURRY UP AND FIX THE DAMNED FORUMS! The LA Kings have lost ALL of their talented forwards and I NEED to make fun of their fans!” – Jackass, fubar sports forum regular.
Okay since the forums are still dead, here’s a special post where you can talk about the NHL in the comments.
the loss of ziggy killed my fantasy team. more than likely killed the kings, too. the wings are gonna bring the cup back to hockeytown. and they’ll do it with cujo and the dominator.

Poor kings, too bad they can’t be decimated by injury and still perform well like some other team from Detroit we know of.
#2 | Comment by bligityblah — January 15, 2004 @ 7:05 pm
oh hey. haha. whaddaya know. i fixed the forums. didnt think i’d be able to do it THAT fast. but it’s fixed. so yeah, you guys can still argue about hockey here or in the forums.

#6 | Comment by Bubba — January 15, 2004 @ 9:14 pm

I honestly had no idea that this site had a forum until I read this post. Crazy.
#9 | Comment by joflow — January 16, 2004 @ 1:15 am
What the fuck…
Where were all you little faggy Sharks fans at the beginning of the season?
I Bill Guerin-fucking-tee the Kings beat the Sharks on…uh…March 13th. Hohohoho! Fuck you Sharks fans!
#10 | Comment by Bubba — January 16, 2004 @ 1:37 am
Hey man, all that matters is who wins the cup, and that isn’t going to be the stars. What was it that Tom hicks said about the stars. If things don’t start changing in the next 30 days then stuff will be moved around. He also said something to the effect as "if we don’t start playing like better younger teams like the Sharks, then i will have to move people around." The sharks are the best in the division and with Modano out the Stars have no chance, and I mean no chance what soever.
#11 | Comment by SharksFan — January 16, 2004 @ 2:31 am
bwhahaha, the Sharks are leading the NHLs JV division. How is the ride on the bandwangon? I’m sure once the Sharks blow it you’ll fade away.
#12 | Comment by bligityblah — January 16, 2004 @ 2:40 am
What are you talking about the jv division. If all the teams are healthy, the pacific division is one of the hardest divisons in hockey. What division do you like. I bet u like some gay team like the lightning or some shit. Or you like the Avs because they are a dynasty. Look at the sharks, they play as a team, not a few good players.
#13 | Comment by Sharks Fan — January 16, 2004 @ 2:45 am
Sorry kiddo, your division is terrible right now. If the Stars had some discipline they’d kick ass. Then again, if a frog had wings it wouldn’t bump its ass. But seeing as I grew up within earshot of Hockeytown I’m a Wings fan and have been since the first time I learned to walk. Phoenix is a joke, Anaheim is a joke even with Federov, LA has been raped by lady luck while SJ has ridden her coat tails. The hardest divisions are the Central, Atlantic, and Northwest. Lets take this to the forums where it belongs.
#14 | Comment by bligityblah — January 16, 2004 @ 3:05 am
Do you not realize that the Red Wings are destined to win again? Whenever they perform like bitches, they always come back the next year and win. It’s a lock, kids. Sucks to be any color but red and white.
#15 | Comment by Sloan — January 16, 2004 @ 3:06 am
Phoenix has a nice team….they’re nice. I like them.
GO KINGS GO!
Until death, my bitches. Go…Frolov. Yeah…

I’m kind of a sharks fan because they drafted a guy from my school.. jim fahey, but they aren’t playing him much this year for some reason. I’m surprised they turned around since the beginning of the season, I thought they were done for.
I’m also a rangers fan (yeah yeah i know) because I grew up watching them and while I hate half the players on the team I gotta root for them, it’s hard to forget messier’s guarantee and adam graves’ (my favorite player) 52 goals in 1994.
Graves was traded to san jose last year and I think he’s retired now, but the sentimental side is another reason why I started to like san jose.
And Boston is aright too. All my teams have issues. *cries*
#18 | Comment by Jeff — January 16, 2004 @ 3:36 am
Notice that Bubba has backed off of the Kings praise and resorted to insulting other teams instead.

it’s ALL fixed now.
#21 | Comment by Justin — January 16, 2004 @ 10:15 am
With all this talk about who is going to win the cup I’m surprised no one has mentioned the Leafs. Why? Becasue they ARE going to win the cup. Even with all thier current injuries they’re still on top of thier game, and only one point behind Detroit for top of the league.
Go Leafs Go!
#22 | Comment by J-Mo — January 16, 2004 @ 10:20 am
My pick for the quest for the cup is going to have to be the sharks. They are pretty much unbeatable at home, and right now they are up 2-0 over the CANUCKS who are on a 8 game winning streak. Plus the sharks are on the top of the pacific divsion. KINGS SUCK SHARK RULE. Go sharks.
#23 | Comment by Cheechoo Train — January 16, 2004 @ 12:15 pm
All i have to say is that the sharks are going to win the cup. First they are almost unbeatable at home, second they have great young players. Dimitrakos, Cheechoo, Priesing to name a few. Plus Marleau and Damphousse are really getting it done. With the kings out of contention due to injuries they really only have The CANUCKS to worry about. As of now the sharks are up 2-0 against the CANUCKS at home. Plus the CANUCKS are on a 8 game win streak. I see a 16-0 mabey 16-1 sweep in the playoffs. Oh yes. one more thing. Nabokov and Toskala are going one of the best goalie duos in the league. Take it or leave it. GO SHARKS. 🙂
#24 | Comment by Sharksfan — January 16, 2004 @ 12:23 pm
thats not YOUR prediction, you filthy little thief. I would like to note: "sharksfan" didn’t even have enough thought to come up with his own prediction. My prediction? Sharks will lose.
#25 | Comment by radish01001 — January 16, 2004 @ 12:40 pm
Alright this is truly my last "comment" ever. From now on I’m gonna be in the forums (by the way YOU RULE justin, you fixed them FAST)
1) I shouldn’t be talking trash about the Sharks right now because they’ve made the Canucks look BAD in the last couple weeks. However if you think they’re gonna win the cup, think again. They’re in a PATHETIC division, although I can’t figure out why Dallas sucks so hard this year. Anyways if you think "guys like Cheechoo" are gonna do anything, why don’t you take a look at 2 years ago (when they were ACTUALLY a threat) and compare teams? No more Owen Nolan, no more Teemu Selanne, no more Marchment. Forget it.
2) HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA the LA Kings are NOT going to beat the Sharks (For the rest of this season). They are NOT gonna make the playoffs (their spot is Edmonton’s for the taking). I TOLD you guys, theres a perfectly good reason why the Kings keep falling like flies, it’s not just increadible bad luck.
3) OK Colorado is ahead of Vancouver right now which is extremely bothersome to me. I’m gonna continue my discussion in the forums.
#26 | Comment by jackass — January 16, 2004 @ 2:27 pm
Look, Jeff, I started talking hockey on this website before ANYONE, OK? So I make the fucking rules. And there’s only ONE RULE: IF YOU’RE A RANGERS FAN, YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING UP 94. EVER. Zipit.
#27 | Comment by jackass — January 16, 2004 @ 2:29 pm
THOUGH THEY’RE IN A SLUMP RIGHT NOW, AND EVEN THOUGH THEY CHOKE EVERY SINGLE YEAR, THE FLYERS ARE STILL THE SHIT.WHO AM I KIDDING? ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE REAL ESTATE MARKET IN SAN JOSE IS LOOKIN LIKE? TOO COLD IN PHILLY ANYWAY.
#28 | Comment by HOMERJDOH — January 16, 2004 @ 2:51 pm
Fair enough. I just wanted to express how anyone could ‘root’ for a bunch of aging overpaid underachievers. It’s not so much that I like the players, I’m stuck liking the team.
#29 | Comment by Jeff — January 16, 2004 @ 2:58 pm
The forums just told be: unable to access jackass.dat. Get on it Justin, it won’t let me post.
Anyways this was what I was trying to brag about:
PLAYERS INJURED BY THE CANUCKS THIS YEAR (in chronolgical order):
1. Barrett Jackman (last year’s Rookie of the Year laid out with a HUGE Bertuzzi bodycheck. Out for the entire year and the playoffs)
2. Derian Hatcher (NHL’s best defensive defenseman, victim of a Markus Naslund hipcheck. Out for the season but back for the playoffs)
3. Ladislav Nagy (One of the best young players in the league and Phoenix’s leading scorer, got a brutal stick in the eye from Mattius Ohlund. Out indefinitely)
4. Nathan Horton (A top-3 draft pick and one of the highest-scoring rookies so far this year, driven into the boards by Brent Sopel. Needs shoulder surgery, out for the year plus the playoffs. Prompted Florida to immediately sign Donald Audette.) Signing Audette was an awesome move BTW I didn’t expect anything so smart from their retard GM.
Anyways I had previously thought we injured Pallfy, but when I researched it I learned he got injured in the game before we played LA. Oh well, I guess we just need to injure one more forward before we can officialy say that we’ve injured a full all-star starting roster.
#30 | Comment by jackass — January 16, 2004 @ 3:33 pm
Fuck the sharks, fuck the kings…CANUCKS or AVALANCHE ALL THE WAY ! ! ! If either team wins the cup…I am happy…No no no…Actually…ONLY CANUCKS WIN THE CUP ! ! And you know why we’re gonna win? RUTTU BABY ! ! ! !
#31 | Comment by SuperJay-SS4 — January 16, 2004 @ 4:10 pm
Stanley Cup is on it’s way to Tampa…psh yea right, I can only wish. Who knows though If the Bolts come on strong at the end like they did last year, it could happen.
#32 | Comment by Will — January 16, 2004 @ 4:58 pm
You’d need a team of Martin St.Louis’ to get the cup there…or a Thomas Crown-esque heist….
#33 | Comment by bligityblah — January 16, 2004 @ 5:10 pm
fucking forum mother fucker. goddamn errors. ok they *should* be working fine now. if not, just let me know what error it is you’re getting.

Palffy got injured by O.J. Hohoho, oh well!
#35 | Comment by Bubba — January 16, 2004 @ 9:09 pm
OK revised list of "injuries the Canucks have caused"
Derian Hatcher, Henrik Zetterberg (out 2 months w/ broken leg), Barrett Jackman, Scott Hartnell, Nathan Horton, Ladislav Nagy.

Oh right, you’re a canucks fan. Now I know why I’m not allowed to mention ’94… not bitter, are we?
#38 | Comment by Jeff — January 19, 2004 @ 3:12 pm
HEY WHAT DID I TELL YOU? NO TALKING ABOUT 94! YOU THINK I’M JOKING?
PS add Jay Bouwmeester to the list of injuries caused by the Canucks. 2-6 weeks with a broken foot.
#39 | Comment by jackass — January 20, 2004 @ 4:43 pm
Look, the Kings beat the Blackhawks, which happens to be my local team. You should be really happy about that… were it not for the fact that the two teams were arguably jockeying for the role of ‘worst team in the league’ award, which most Chicago teams manage to win, and the way the Cubs did this year was just an anomaly.
#40 | Comment by Umgawa — January 20, 2004 @ 5:44 pm
"You should be really happy about that… were it not for the fact that the two teams were arguably jockeying for the role of ‘worst team in the league’ award"
HA! The Kings are still in the playoff race. I actually think they can make it too. Sure they don’t have any "Super Stars" left, but they have a grip of good players who play hard and pull through when they have to. Frolov has the talent, and there are plenty of guys on the team who have the experience. If Cech stays on his game, anything can happen.
#41 | Comment by Bubba — January 21, 2004 @ 8:16 am
OK really Bubba. I haven’t been giving you the gears too much about the sorry state of your team, but you’ve gotta give this a rest. Everyone knows the Kings are completely screwed from here on out, and there’s no way in hell they’re going to the playoffs. Even their stupid coach knows this. I don’t care about Frolov, he could be the most talented player in the world. They could barely make the playoffs with Pallfy, Straka, and Frolov, and you think they have a chance with just the "remarkable talent" of Frolov, the "leadership ability" of Trent Klatt, and the "increadibly good luck" of Chechmanik? Dream on. They’re a borderline AHL team right now. And yes, at the moment, Chicago probably has a better roster.
#42 | Comment by jackass — January 21, 2004 @ 3:02 pm
keep it up jackass – CANUCKS ALL THE WAY BABY!!! gonna start by striking down the Lightning tonite, martin st louis or not… btw it was a bryan allen hipcheck, not naslund, that took out hatcher…
GO "NUCKS GO!!!!
#43 | Comment by Cutter — January 21, 2004 @ 8:31 pm
Yeah, good luck on that whole "striking down the Lightning" thing. Looks like you’ll need it. Oh well…you fucking losers! Nyahahhaa! Unless the Canucks happen to win…then I guess I’m the fucking loser. OH WELL!
#44 | Comment by Bubba — January 21, 2004 @ 11:11 pm
Well, it was a 5-4 overtime game, and guess who’s the loser? No, not Tampa Bay, guess again. That’s right. You.
