But yes, the next best thing to posting up an e-mail that starts off with someone going “Hey dude! Your site rocks!” is posting up an e-mail that end up with someone going “…this is a damn nice site”.

Okay enough with my obligatory ego boosting.

Yep, you got it man. That I ASSURE YOU schtick that i always pull out from time to time does indeed come from the movie Clerks. I used to have this running joke where i’d be saying “Inconceivable!” like in ever other post about a year back. That i got from The Princess Bride. I love that movie. GET IT ON DVD.

Another Clerks line that i like to use every now and then (usually in the subject line of e-mails i send out) is “We’re gonna need a bigger boat”. I just love the way Randal says it. Although… it could be argued that it’s also a Jaws quote. With Clerks referencing the movie by quoting a line from it. But hey, regardless of which, i still think it’s a great line. Be it’s source coming from either Jaws or Clerks.

Anyway i’m gonna go get a pizza and watch Degrassi Jr. High now. I have this weird thing for Canadian melodrama.

I also have this weird thing for girls who say “aboot”.

Roughly 7 hours later and goodinabadway.com still isn’t up!

I want my daily dose of goodinabadway.com!! (well… my second dosage of what would’ve been my daily dose of goodinabadway.com if it wasn’t down right now because i only found out about it yesterday…)

Oh well.

You know, y’all should go check out that site of his. If only to download this song of theirs. It’s called Nintendo. And it’s, oddly enough, a song about… Nintendo. Cool song. Alternatively, you could just click here to download the song but i think they’d appreciate it a bit more if you gave their site a visit. It’s a relatively small download. Only about 3 megs big.

Won’t take as long to download as it takes for my site to load on a 56k modem.

Anyway, another band site that you all should check out is minibosses.com. Just like Saint Dragon, these guys REALLY love Nintendo games. My personal favorite is their rendition of this Double Dragon song. Only around 2 megs. DOWNLOAD IT. It’s some funky ass shit.

Oh and some unintentionally funny stuff, check out their G.I.JOE song. HILARIOUS.

I have crazy fans.

Yeah the Memento DVD’s pretty bare bones man. Which is why i didn’t bother picking it up. I do have it on VCD and i have obviously seen it. I meant to post about that movie after i first saw it but i guess i just never got around to it. Fucking great movie. You really need to pay COMPLETE attention to that movie if you’re even gonna make sense out of it the first time around.

Because the movies runs chronologically backwards.

Basically it’s just all backwards. The ending’s at the beginning and the beginning’s at the end.

Hard to explain. Just go watch it. I ASSURE YOU IT’S A GOOD MOVIE.

Nothing like posting up an e-mail that has someone going, “Hey dude! Your site rocks!”. It’s even better if you post up a lot of e-mails that are similar in theme (you know.. of the “Hey dude! Your site rocks!” variety) one after another (like i did a coupla posts back) cuz it makes it seem like the site’s actually more popular than it really is.

Works wonders for my ego too.

Anyway, a big fan of mine (i seem to have garnered quite a few this past week) was kind enough to have sifted through his cache and zipped up a cached version of goodinabadway.com (which is still ‘down’ as of right now).

Austin Powers: Goldmember!!

I just have four words to say about this teaser: MIDGETS! LOTS OF THEM!

Blade 2!!

To tell you the truth, Blade 2 doesn’t look all that hot. Well… not from this teaser anyway. Hopefully they’ll show more of the better bits of the movie when the official trailer’s released. It looks kinda Spawn-ish this time around. Blade 2. That being the overall impression i had after watching the teaser that is. Again, it’s too early to really say anything about the movie. Gotta wait for the real trailer to be out.

I mean, take a look at the Spider-Man teasers and compare them with the official trailer. You didn’t really know how it would turn out and all. And when the trailer was finally released. BOOM. SO GOOD. Hopefully Blade 2 will be just as good as the first one if not better. The first movie wasn’t all that bad really. i liked it. Nice pre-Matrix fight sequences etc etc. And that first opening bloodbath in the club had my jaw dropping to the ground the first time i saw it back in ’98. It was an alright movie.

Can’t say much about the Austin Powers teaser too. Except that it’s funny as hell. Those midgets… haha. Check it out. It’s a relatively short download.

And that’s just saying the least.

You know how they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? Or however the hell that saying goes anyway…

But nevermind. We’ll get back to that later.

Talking about me ‘inspiring’ sites, here’s the kicker: goodinabadway isn’t just a site that i’ve downright inspired, goodinabadway is also a badinagoodway fansite.

A fansite (!).

That is just fucking crazy man! Hahaha. I mean, i’ve had people becoming inspired to start their own sites after seeing mine, some of them even downright borrowing bits of my bio info to put on their bio, some even trying to emulate the site’s format and for those of you who’ve been reading long enough, you might even remember the site parodies (complete with same layouts and ‘Justin style’ posts) that SlackerJedi and Reignfire once made of this site but this… this just takes the cake!
