Well. I don’t know about you but i think i see *some* progress. Who knows, maybe in 6 months time, we’ll have teh Lohan of 2004 back! Hopefully she’ll get rid of that stupid blonde hair by then. If that time ever comes that is.

That was it for season 2 of Entourage? I didn’t even realize it was the last episode. But i should’ve known considering how they ended the first season right before the shooting of Vince’s new movie started. And you know, it just dawned on me that Aquaman is being directed by James Cameron. Because, you know, it is another water movie (The Abyss, Titanic anyone?). And i think we all know how incredibly tough production can be on water movies. Just watch the documentary on the Abyss DVD. And let’s not forget Waterworld. But speaking of DVD, i cannot wait for this to come out. I think i might just wet my vagina the day it’s released.

That said, it’s good that Entourage went for 14 episodes this year. Apparently it’s gonna go on for even longer next year. Maybe even a real full season? I’m not sure what to think of these 6 – 13 episode season formats. Like some shows are so good you just want them to go on for the whole 24 – 25 season episodes. But i guess it’s a good idea nowadays to launch shows with like a 6 episode first season (ala The Office) and if it works, you slowly give them more episodes for the next (ala Entourage). That way there won’t be any more heartbreaking Firefly/Wonderfalls stories to tell.

Anyway, i’ve got a whole bunch of TV on DVD to watch in the meantime. I’ve been buying a lot of season boxsets of shows that i never followed on TV. Picked up Millennium season 1, Firefly, The OC season 1, Nip/Tuck season 1 and… i think that’s it so far.

TV on DVD is like CRACK. I love it.

Next on the list will be Nip/Tuck season 2, The OC season 2, Lost season 1, Desperate Housewives season 1, Resuce Me season 1, Deadwood season 1, and… probably Millenium season 2 or another one of the 24’s or Alias’s or maybe season 1 of The Sopranos or Sex in the City or OZ or…

Oh to hell with it. I will buy them ALL in due time.

But no Battlestar Galactica. That show sucks*

*actually i only hate it because Angelbaby loves it so much. i still refuse to watch it though.

I work for Media 8 Entertainment and I’ve been very amused these past months by the various news coming out about Anne Hathaway’s nude scenes in Havoc, most of which seems to have originated from this very website. Several of the reviwers on this site have very good information, so I would guess they actually saw Havoc at one point. Others are making things up. Havoc will now skip a full theatrical release, instead getting a DVD release of November 29th of this year. There will be an R-rated cut and an unrated cut of the movie coming out that day. Media 8 isn’t going to come right out and say it, but this is how it will be: The R-rated version will be the one screened recently in Germany. Only Anne’s breasts will be seen in 3 scenes. The uncut version will feature Anne in all her glory. Anne first nude scene is altered. In the R-rated cut her top comes off and she quickly goes offscreen to give Mike Vogel a blowjob. In the uncut version Vogel pulls off her top and rubs and sucks on her breasts before she sucks him off. God only knows why this was changed. The next uncut scene shows Anne laying fully nude in bed. There’s a knock on the door so she gets up to answer it without bothering to put anything on. There’s a good look at her tits and ass and a brief bit of bush. Finally, Freddy Rodriguez and Anne are rolling around on a bed at a party and Freddy starts undressing Anne. That’s all in the original cut, but it stops after Anne is topless for a few seconds and decides not to go through with it. In this extended scene, Freddy pulls Anne’s panties off and there’s a fairly quick shot of her nude crotch including her so-called ‘lips’. Anne begins masturbating with a vibrator off screen as Freddy calls in a group of his guy friends to watch her. This cathes her off guard and she jumps up and begins putting her clothes back on. And that’s about it. There is no nudity from Mike Vogel in the film and Freddy Rodriguez’s ass is seen, but not his penis. As stated before, both versions of Havoc will be available on November 29th.

Any idea where all our helicopters are? It’s Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina and thousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted. Where on earth could you have misplaced all our military choppers? Do you need help finding them? I once lost my car in a Sears parking lot. Man, was that a drag.

Also, any idea where all our national guard soldiers are? We could really use them right now for the type of thing they signed up to do like helping with national disasters. How come they weren’t there to begin with?

During a nationally televised Hurricane Katrina relief show, actor/rapper Kayne West showed the world what he was made of as he went on a tirade against George W. Bush.

“George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” West said. “They’re saying black families are looting and white families are just looking for food…they’re giving the (Army) permission to shoot us”

NBC attempted to cut off the out-of-line remarks by cutting to a shot of actor Chris Tucker, but by then, the damage had already been done.

No doubt about it. Kanye was definitely playing the race card.

So i was on CHUD.COM last night looking at new DVD releases and i noticed that they’re triple dipping Pretty Woman on DVD with a new 15th anniversary special edition. This pisses me off because i already have the 10th anniversary special edition! (i also have the regular edition on laserdisc) So do i have to buy it again when the 20th anniversary special edition comes along?? Ridiculous. Paramount can kiss my ass.

But despite that, i probably WILL pick up the new DVD someday. But only because it has a new Garry Marshall commentary track on it. And i’ve never heard a Garry Marshall commentary track i didn’t like. So anyway i was reading up the review of the new DVD and i just couldn’t help but notice how Julia Roberts (sort of) looks like Anne Hathaway on the DVD cover. Actually i think i remember Garry Marshall mentioning pretty much the exact same thing (except the other way around) on the Princess Diaries commentary track. About how Anne is like the new Julia Roberts or something (coincidently, both Pretty Woman and The Princess Diaries are Garry Marshall flicks and both movies were the ones that catapaulted both actresses to superstardom.

Anyhow, this post is just an excuse to put up this link to these hi res promo pics for Havoc, Anne’s soon to be released straight to DVD movie. You know, the one where she get nekkid in (“LIPS!”). I hope it lives up to the hype because i’d hate for it to be a disappointment of Neve Campbell proportions.
