How about when i get the site back up you actually start READING the goddamn thing. That link has been posted on the site numerous times over the past month and was first originally seen <A HREF=”/archives/1171here<?A>. And countless other times in the comments after that and even on the front page.

Anyhow. Well shit. That took a little longer than expected (the server move that is). But the good news is that with the new server comes new bandwidth! An extra 100 gigs to be exact. Finals are over. Wasn’t really that much of a big deal. 60 MCQ paper for my Freedom of Expression class and a group presentation thing for my Organizational Conflict class (no paper for that one). I think i did good. I’m still gonna have class though next week. Summer II semester. So it’s gonna be a short weekend break for me.

Starting of with going to the movies. I just got back from seeing Fahrenheit 9/11. AND IT WAS GOOD. Lots of old people though. I’ve never seen so many old people watch a movie before. And when the movie ended, there were a bunch of Anti-Bush people handing out flyers outside the theater. Kekekeke. Fun times.

So. Any of you seen the Spider-Man 2 ads on TV lately? The one with the rave reviews from Roger Ebert and Rolling Stone magazine? Goddamn that is one awesome TV spot. First time i saw it i almost felt like crying tears of joy.

I’m so hyped up about the movie that i might even pick up the videogame. I haven’t actually read much about it but according to one reader who’s played the E3 demo, it kicks ass. I think i read somewhere that Kiki is doing the voiceover for the tutorial (just like how Bruce Campbell did it for the first game). Or maybe not. I do have a $5 off coupon from Best Buy for the game. I dunno. I think i’ll wait for the reviews to come in to see if it’s worth buying.

Seeing as to how we’ve missed a couple of days worth of update, lets play catch up.

From the guy who brought you Audition, Visitor Q and Ichi The Killer, here’s another fucked up movie that’s potentially worth seeing, Gozu.

Then there’s Taxi, an American remake of a French movie that looks absolutely STUPID (the remake that is. actually… the original was pretty stupid too).

Sarah Michelle Gellar’s got a new movie out. Another American remake of a foreign movie. The Grudge. I’ve actually seen the Japanese original (i have it on DVD) and…. eh… nothing special. I dunno why people keep saying that it’s scary as hell. I guess it shouldn’t because the people that told me that it was scary were all girls. Who are complete pussies when it comes to ‘scary movies’.

But i dunno. Sam Raimi is actually attaching his name to this remake. So it might actually be good. Sam Raimi. You know. Spider-Man. Evil Dead 2. Army Of Darkness. THAT Sam Raimi.

Okay. So we had a little downtime today because basically, the site is getting WAY too much traffic and even with this new non-greymatter non-.cgi site management system in place, it’s still overloading the server i’m on. So i’ve turned off the comments again and enabled ‘guest viewing’ for everyone (just for now) until we can get the site onto a better server that can actually handle the amount of traffic i get. It shouldn’t take too long. Maybe a day or two at the very least. Most likely a day.

By the way, you guys better start donating a little more every now and then whenever you can if you want me to be able to keep this website up because the new server comes with a new higher price. Otherwise i probably won’t be able to keep this whole community up and running and you’ll probably have to find a new playground to run around in sooner or later.

Anyhow, things will probably be back to normal tomorrow, if not the day after tomorrow.

Note to self: never ever tell anyone i know in real life about this stupid website. Time and time again i keep slipping up and i manage to mention that fact that i have this website online, in front of a class full of people. Did it earlier this semester when we had to do this mandatory ‘get to know the person beside you and then have them mention the things you just told them’ on the first day of class. Of course, since i’m the world’s most boring person in real life, and that i really have no redeeming qualities at all outside of the fact i’m an internet celebrity (i.e someone that needs to get out more) and that i have this unusually popular website (which is absolutely dumbfounding), i of course tell them about it. Reluctantly of course. Because deep down i’m actually dreading the thought of them coming here to check it out only to find… all this.

Okay so it may not be much right now since the layout change but hey, still, having a row of underage starlets adorning the top of your website is jarring enough.

This is, after all, the most disturbing site on the internet.

Deja vu? Yeah i wrote a similar post last semester when i did exactly the same thing to this chick that sat next to me when i told her about this site. So she came, she saw and she took it pretty well! Either that of she was just being nice.

Anyhow, June has been a pretty uneventful month. Compared to last month anyway. With the whole OMG LINDSAY LOHAN NIPPLE!!!! thing. Which is good because things are actually starting to settle down around here (bandwidth wise anyway). There’s still a huge number of stupid fucking newbies lurking around and waiting for me to post pictures so that they can leave their stupid fucking newbie comments. You can tell which ones they are by looking at their post counts. They generally have a post count of 1 and they like to leave barely constructive (i.e worthless) comments that aren’t even worth reading. Therefore wasting everybody else’s time and energy when they click on a link hoping to read something WORTH reading.

If you feel a little sting it’s probably because you’re one of them!!!!

Goddamn, what does it take to get things back to the pre-Lohan days? LINDSAY LOHANNNNNN. YOU HAVE BEEN THE DOWNFALL OF THIS SITE!!!!! I’ve got a group presentation thing AND my finals on Wednesday so you can’t blame me for the lack of ‘teh good stuff’ lately.

Anyhow, so i downloaded that Survivor sex tape last night. I skimmed through it for like a total of 8 seconds and decided that i have NO INTEREST WHATSOEVER in it and i closed it. By the way, if you’re thinking “Hey! I’m interested! Send it to me!”, it’s about 170 megs. So no. There’s really no way i can get it to you. Plus the link that i got it from is now dead. You lose.

Also, the camera angles were fucking shitty. What little of them i saw anyway.

I do however, have a link to this Rachel Stevens performance. That name may mean nothing to you if you’re not from Europe or Asia but hey, she’s hot so it doesn’t really matter where you’re from. I dunno about you but somehow, she was a whole lot hotter back in the day. Watch the vid and lemme know what you think.

The last book i read was Bruce Campbell’s autobiography and the last book before that was Mick Foley’s autobiography. Beyond that, i don’t think i’ve actually ever read any books. None that i can remember anyway. I’m more of a DVD guy.

It’s fucking cold here in Michigan today. Or maybe it’s just because i’m inside the house. But i don’t even have any A/C and it’s still cold! Yep. Must be the weather. But i hear it’s like super fucking hot out on the west coast. HA ha. You all lose.

Is it just me or has there been absolutely nothing good going on in the world of celebrity pics this past week? I mean, i know there’s like the Peta Wilson Playboy spread (which i have zero interest in because she’s not that big of a celeb) and then there’s the Survivor Jenna sextape (which i have zero interest in because i never watched that season of Survivor) and what else? Alright sure, there’s probably more stuff that i might have missed but i guess i’ve just been too busy with fixing up the site and shit.

Speaking of which, i’m still having trouble adjusting to things. At least when posting on the front page. It used to be that the site was separate from the forum. Now the site IS pretty much the forum. And it’s throwing me for a loop. So to make a clearer distinction, just think of this whole front page as the blog section. Treat it as you would if it were still running on Greymatter (minus your stupid fucking comments and/or links of course. that crap can go in the shit chat section or the linkdump). So try to keep things relatively on topic here in the ‘blog’ comments. There’s other places where you can go WAY off topic on.

My Summer I classes are coming to an end next week. Which also means finals and group projects to get done. So again, between the site overhaul and school, apologies for not having anything good to post about this past week. Things will pick up around here. I’ll get my game back on.

OMG LOOK! The site’s all changed and you can probably see my stupid face to the left of this post. But yeah, welcome back me. I’m finally updating the site again. As you can see, things have changed a little. Okay maybe a lot. I’ve ditched using Greymatter to run the site and i’m now using Invision Power Board instead. I’m still getting used to it so yeah, apologies for the extremely ‘template-y’ look right now. I’ll probably add stuff and change things around over the next coupla days.

Anyway, i’ve tried to keep the same look and feel of the old layout. Not sure if i can match it EXACTLY but hey, at least i’ve brought over the same shitty colors.

So with the new forums comes the new site (which is actually powered by the forums really).

Changes? Well you’re going to actually have to REGISTER to leave comments to the posts on the main page. And the posts in the forum too for that matter. This is a good thing. Because it’ll get rid of you fucking idiots that leave stupid fucking comments all the time and it’ll be a hell of a lot more easier to moderate your dumbass comments.

Oh and for those of you new to the site, we’ve been having some trouble with the commenters over the past coupla weeks. Basically, the site was overrun with stupid newbies (and i do mean stupid newbies) so the comments section was getting to be a real major drag. So much so that i had to turn off the comments.

Anyway, you can still check out all the old posts that were made using Greymatter. Just hit up the archives. The comments are still turned off though. I’m not sure if i’ll turn them back on yet. Maybe. Maybe not. We’ll see.

The site still kinda sucks right now and it’s looking pretty empty content wise. At least for now. But yeah, things will pick up over the next coupla days or so once i actually have stuff to post about.

By the way, the old rules of the site still apply if you’re going to leave comments for the front page posts. So don’t be fucking stupid like all the other newbs that used to pollute the site.
