I bought Resident Evil 4 for the PS2 a coupla days ago. It’s a pretty impressive port. i don’t really have a desire to through the whole game again – already did that twice on the Gamecube – but from what little of the PS2 version i’ve played so far (i stopped after getting to the first save point), i’d be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two unless they were side by side.

I have a tendency to buy games, play them for 5 minutes, and then never touch them ever again. But hey, at 2 bucks a pop, i guess i can afford to. Keke.

I don’t really like the feel of controlling Leon with the PS2’s analog sticks though. Felt a little loose. Controlled better on the Gamecube i thought. For those of you who don’t own a Gamecube, this is probably the first time you’ll be playing Resident Evil 4. Been a while since i last (properly) experienced the game. But i remember it being awesome. Like… Shadow of the Colossus awesome. That first boss fight at the lake… that blew my mind more than the time i looked at my own asshole in the mirror.

Actually i think i might just go through the game one more time. If only to unlock the new Ada Wong missions.

Oh, little known fact, there’s well over 500 registered users here on the site (and again, 99% of them with male sounding usernames) with at least three or four new sign ups a day but where are you guys? I just find it kinda strange because i see y’all taking the effort to sign up but then you never post! Not that you HAVE to because i know some people prefer to lurk but if you’re just gonna lurk, you know you don’t have to sign up right? But anyhoo, it’s good to see all the new names that’ve been posting lately. Like Smiley for one, whose comments have made me laugh* on more than one occasion.
