On Tuesday, February 5, under the cloak of secrecy, Lindsay Lohan went to the Hotel Bel-Air to meet photographer Bert Stern and restage the legendary series of photographs Stern had taken of Marilyn Monroe in 1962, six weeks before her death – a portfolio of pictures known as ‘The Last Sitting.’

How did it come about? Stern had decided that Lohan was the perfect actress for this project, and when he asked us if we might be interested in working with him on it, we were, naturally, more than enthusiastic. So was Lohan – the 21-year-old happens to be a Monroe fanatic (you can read more about her in Amanda Fortini’s story) – till, we sent her Stern’s book so she could study up on the shoot. That morning, Lohan arrived (ten minutes early, actually).

Hair and makeup took two hours; there were three wig changes to get precisely the right shape and shade of platinum. Stern duplicated the original 1962 set, down to the lighting. Lohan was unafraid of some of the eerier parallels between herself and Monroe, and she embraced every aspect of the shoot. She knew that Monroe had worn little more than a chiffon scarf, and she came with the same spirit.

Seven hours and hundreds of frames later, the pictures were made. Photographer and star were satisfied, and photo director Jody Quon flew home, just a little stunned that it had happened at all. – nymag.com

Scarlett and Natalie have been making the rounds promoting their new movie, The Other Boleyn Girl, but for the most part they’ve been wearing pretty meh outfits. Their Vanity Fair cover wasn’t bad though.

Finally, they dressed up for the Berlin premiere. I’m not sure what’s up with Nat’s dress, but I know it would be a whole lot more interesting without that blue scarf thingy draped over her boobs. And while Scarlett’s hair could’ve been styled a bit better, there’s no arguing with the classic combo of cleavage and fishnets.

As this is a period drama and they play sisters, I’m guessing we won’t be treated to a Scarlett on Natalie love scene.

Boo.

Oh, look…Punky McPoseur talked Maxim magazine into letting her be on the cover.

Whoopty-doo.

I even threw in the scans of the interview pages in case someone is interested in actually reading it.

Hayden was in Berlin for the photocall and premiere of a new movie she is starring in called Fireflies In The Garden. I have no idea what this movie is about, but the cast sounds pretty good with Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, and Carrie-Anne Moss also starring. IMDB plot outline says: The semi-autobiographical story centers on the complexities of love and commitment in a family torn apart when faced by an unexpected tragedy. Zzz?

The more exciting news out of all this was that Hayden dropped her lipcolor gettting out of the Volkswagen at the red carpet and gave everyone a nice cleavage view while picking it up.
